Engaging and Thoughtful Memory Game for Seniors
I recently purchased the Keeping Busy Tile Matching Adult Memory Games for my father-in-law, who had dementia. Unfortunately, he passed away before he could use them, but I believe he would have enjoyed them. The game is designed to be engaging and stimulating, which is perfect for seniors with memory loss. The tiles are well-made and easy to handle, making them suitable for elderly hands. The game encourages cognitive activity and can be a great way to spend quality time with loved ones. The instructions are clear, and the game itself is straightforward, making it accessible for seniors.Overall, the Keeping Busy Tile Matching Adult Memory Games is a thoughtful and beneficial activity for seniors with dementia or Alzheimer's. It's a wonderful tool for mental stimulation and engagement.

Wonderful activity for my mother with dementia and hearing loss
The Keeping Busy Tile Matching Game far exceeds my expectations for quality of the tiles, the color sheets, the box they fit in, and even the outer packaging. My mother reads everything I give her, and the clear, gentle description on the box cover doesn't mention dementia and so doesn't cause her any stress or confusion. At first she couldn't understand that sometimes a piece needs to be flipped over to fit into the space, but I was pleased to find that when we played at my next visit two weeks later she had learned to do that. We only used the fully colored sheets the first several times, but then I began giving her the ones with white spaces, and soon she was able to figure those out as well. I sit with her and offer a thumbs-up when she fits a piece in properly, or quietly take one out again if she has gotten stuck. It's great to see her smile and be amazed at herself when she completes a tray. That is worth almost any price. My only complaint, as others have probably said, is that the navy blue color is too close to black, and the two greens are not different enough in hue. But we have learned to deal with that, since the tiles are thick and weighty, and the laminated sheets fit nicely into the box frame. Thank you for this excellent product.

Great for elderly or young
My mother who has early stage dementia, has really enjoyed this puzzle. The pieces are a nice size and texture. It's been a challenge to find self-lead activities for her and this puzzle fits the bill.

Shocked!
My dad was never one for board games or puzzles. I was worried he wouldn't engage with this puzzle, but he has and actually seems to be enjoying it! I'm so happy. He's actually engaged with it for more than an hour, which I didn't expect. We are working on getting him more active and mentally stimulated during the day. To minimize dementia related issues at night. This is helping!

Great dementia game
I purchased this game to play with my grandmother who had dementia. We were looking for games or puzzles that would encourage some thought while also being easy to handle and play with. These pieces were a nice, easily handable size. The colors of the pieces are vibrant and make it entertaining for everyone. The packet that came with also gave plenty of options for how to play with it and possible games to try. Overall, well worth the money and gave me some great moments with my grandmother.

There are three activity levels.
This task has three activity levels. My husband who has dementia got so good at activity one that he wanted me to time him! We are still working on activity two. This item was referred to me by his cognitive speech therapist.

Well made but too easy
I am a caregiver, caring for many people with dementia. The product is well-made, attractive, and unique. However, it is too easy for my patient with moderate dementia. The color clues that are given on the "more advanced" cards make it very easy to find the remaining pieces. I feel it would be appropriate for those with advanced dementia.
