I was searching for a setting powder so do what makeup forever setting powder use to do for my skin. This setting powder by Carslan is phenomenal! Okay so a little goes a long way this is why it has a screen because when you lightly press on screen out comes the right amount of powder onto the puff that it comes with and lightly press apply to the face and your makeup appears to be beautifully set and looks like natural skin. Beautifu. I am so happy with this setting powder. It such a big amount In the container and will last so long since all you need is a little. You do not need to cake this stuff on because it's definitely high quality. It lasts all day for a fresh look. I would highly recommend. Not sure why some reviews claim anything different probably because they are not using as directed. Now if your not into a puff application and want to apply using a brush than I advise to use a setting light fluffy brush and press down on the screen lightly to get the right amount onto the brush and the right amount is micro finishing where it evenly is dusted and distributed onto the brush. Please don't try to cake it on because it's absolutely unnecessary. Love this setting powder. Thank you Carslan 🩷

This really does work to control oil. I tested it head-to-head with my previous go-to for shine control, the 4x-more-expensive Hyaluronic Hydra-Powder by Terry. It was a close race, but this powder actually outperformed the Terry powder, and also caused me to leave less foundation residue on my phone screen compared to the Terry side of my face. I'm really impressed. That being said, you have to use this loose powder carefully. It is easy to use too much and it can cause caking in your foundation and concealer if overused. The powder also can leave white residue behind on your face if you use too much. This isn't a powder that super easily melts into your skin and makeup the way that the Terry Hydra Powder does. The packaging is designed to deliver very little powder at a time, with a trampoline mesh cover over the powder. The powder jar is quite solid feeling and doesn't come off as cheap at all. I'm definitely buying more!

Superfine, super sheer, and super long lasting! It’s miraculously sweat-proof and feels very smooth (no creasing whatsoever). Highly, highly recommend this product. Edit to expand upon my experience: I started using this when I was living in Arizona where the weather gets HOT and not once when using this powder was I ever concerned about having to touch up my face during my day/night. And that WITHOUT the use of any setting/finishing sprays. I have combination skin where my T-zone gets quite oil (esp. with my bangs) so the oil control part of this formula is really important to the longevity of the wear. I’ve never noticed any issues but somebody who gets oilier may have a different experience — your mileage may vary. Lastly, I wear glasses, and this powder is strong enough that I never see any makeup wipe-off on the nose-pads nor any nose-pad prints left on my face.

I saw an advertisement on TikTok that this is nontransferable and waterproof. That’s not exactly true. But the way it makes your skin feel is like silk. The reason it got four stars and not five is because there’s a lot of glitter in it. It’s not overly obvious, but you can see a little sparkle to your skin when wearing it. I only use this one going out at night now.

I love the size because I needed to sample it before I figure out if i liked it or not. I'm not sure how to put the actual powder onto the face blotter, am i supposed to put it upside down onto it since there's only holes. Or was i supposed to completely take out the cover and just blot it. Otherwise, this product worked well on my face.
