Looks nice , works well , good quality, and good value. The only thing I did not like is that peeler,it needs some kind of a cover. It’s very sharp. I cut my hand on it when it was in the holder reaching by it and needed two stitches. it is unsafe even in the drawer so we threw it away..

RAXCO Knife Set with Block For Kitchen in black is a thing of both beauty and substance. First, the box it came in is also beautiful. In keeping with the black motif, it too is mostly black and very tasteful. This would make a lovely housewarming or wedding gift.Inside you’ll find the block and a long, flat box containing the knives and equipment. The block is weighty. There is no way this is getting knocked over by accident. It is solidly constructed and weighty enough to hold its place. It accommodates all the knives and equipment that come with it and does so with instructions as to what blade goes into which slot. The instructions are clear and easy to understand.The flat box contains all the other items. Each knife is individually wrapped, some come with plastic sleeves inside the wrapping as well. Each knife also comes with a plastic guard covering the tip. That’s very thoughtful as a slice can be superficial but an accidental trust can be fatal. Nice touch.The blades themselves are things of beauty. The only caveat is that A FEW came with minor knicks to the black finish. It’s not really noticeable but it is something the manufacturer should look at. Of all the blades, I think only three had minor knicks and these were maybe a ¼ inch at most and very, very thin.The shears, well, I’m pretty sure you can use them to prune a tree.
