Rubbish
This has just arrived. To say it is poor quality would be an understatement. The blade is flimsy and doesn’t go back into the handle neatly and solidly and the handle is poor too. Return started straight away

Complete cheap Chinese rubbish with an English brand name
What can I say about this pruning saw? Well: CHEAP, and HOPELESS. Even the Tesco range pruning saw I bought has lasted 3 years now. This ''Kent and Stowe'' folding pruning saw is worse quality than the Tesco saw. As a few people have reported, (and the same goes with my one), the button release for the blade, (which also serves as the locking mechanism for the blade), fell apart within less than a weeks use. As the plastic parts can no longer stay in place, the saw blade just flops around now and you cannot lock it to perform a cut. So, this saw is now completely useless.Someone said in the questions to just buy a new saw, because the price of the part, or a new blade, will be more than the cost of buying a new saw. Well...I have ZERO intentions in buying another 'Kent and Stowe' saw. What's the point, when the new one will be just as cheap as this one? This is the problem with companies putting ''British designed' on things, then farming the works out to some tuppence ha'penny company, in a shed, in the back streets of China, where they use inferior machinary, the cheapest plastic, and all probably assembled by 10 year old kids on a 22 hour a day work shift. You cannot for the life of you find out WHERE 'Kent and Stow' is in order to complain to, as the internet shows NOTHING for 'Kent and Stowe' as a company. All I can find are 'retailers' of this inferior product.I paid just under £20.00 for this saw, (not bought on Amazon, but purchased from a big online gardening company), and even with the 5 year guarantee, they would not replace it, as they said it was used ''in excess of its expetations' EH? It's a pruning saw fer gawds sake, I tried to prune a 10mm thick Dog Rose branch.....I didn't try to fell a 200 year old Oak Tree. Will I buy another? NO WAY!I still have my cheap Tescos (fivers worth) pruning saw, which is pretty much the same design, with handle and everything, and it's STILL going strong.I shall Upload a picture soon to show what fell apart....All in all, out of all the review stars available, I give this 1 star (because I can't give zero stars!)It's cheap, and if you were considering buying a budget pruning saw that will last at least a single season, this Kent and Stowe saw is not worth buying. Don't be fooled by the English name. Unlike 'Spear and Jackson'..or Wilkinson Sword', where you are buying half decent quality, you are doing nothing of the sort with THIS 'Kent and Stowe' saw.
