It a bargain, am usually on speed 1 or 2, it cool for the room and purpose, I will recommend it to friends and family, thanks.

What a waste of money

This is a review for the 'Simple Deluxe Bladeless Fan with 10-Speeds Settings, 10-Hour Timing Closure Tower Fan, Low Noise, Modern Style Standing Fan for Home Office Living Room, 39" (102cm), Black' which was sent to me free of charge for review as a member of the Amazon Vine programme. This does not sway my honest reviews and no penalty is applied for being critical or reviewing things poorly. The fan at time of review was £129.99 The 'bladeless' fan stands very tall at 102cm, has 10 speeds (the fastest being a 'strong' mode', a timer function and a swing (left & right) mode. It can also be tilted to point upwards at an angle - even pointing straight up if required. The fan has a remote control as well as buttons and a clear white LED display at the base for control. Measuring noise with an app on my phone, with an ambient room noise of 30-32dB and the fan positioned 1 meter away from my phone, the fan at setting 1 measured 46-47dB, at setting 5 measured 49-50dB. Set to 'Strong' mode (setting 10) the room noise measured 55-56dB and I found the noise to be quite loud with a higher pitch than you would get from a normal large blade fan. I would not conclude that this was quieter than a typical floor standing fan, but don't have one with me to compare. The fan did provide a nice level of cooling, and the rotation action works well to cover an area. Set to low speed the cooling effect was still quite nice and the tone was low enough that I would sleep well. The whole upper section is hollow to allow air to flow inside. When handled this does give it a 'cheap' feeling. This may be exacerbated by the use of cheaper plastics, but I don't have a point of comparison. The footprint of the fan is a major advantage over traditional fans, as this sits in a circle of approx. 24cm at its base and is no more than about 28cm at its widest point. It is also very stable as all the weight is at its base. Final thoughts - there will be higher quality fans, and quieter fans available. At this price point I think it is good value for a bladeless fan. I would use this in a room with active noise such as a small office or lounge primarily. At low speeds it would be also work in a bedroom and still kicks out more air than a conventional desk fan.

First time buying a bladeless fan. It works very well cooling the room rather than the traditional blast in one area fan. Couldn't be happier and will definitely be buying again. If there is one issue I would say it is best to be careful when moving it as the base can come apart if brute force is used.

It really works good looks good better than Dysons model really pleased not noisey

Is not strong enough of a fan to warrant 93 pounds, the design mechanism is shoddy with the entire top being just an empty plastic shell for a base fan, which is not properly optimised for the air to get through well. It’s noisy compared to my other fans by a long shot, and constantly hisses. Regret this buy, do not make same mistake buy a dyson or a reputable brand

Great fan, 10 speed settings which helps, lowest setting is nice and quiet for sleeping. Fan looks great in the room as well
