Used to have oven mitts which were lined with the same material that is on the outside of these, both of which are heat resistant, but I cannot find the old kind. The silver material is much like the material used on ironing board covers. These are a great replacement for my old ones, and they work very well! Hard to find, but Amazon comes through again!

I got these for our ⛪ Church kitchen, they have held up beautifully. They get a serious workout. They have been washed several times and have held up well. Would highly recommend!!!!
