Marmot Ultralight Footprint for Limestone Tent

Fit my limestone tent perfectly, works as intended.

I bought a Limestone 6 tent this week and the Marmot Footprint and the fit exactly as they should. So far I have just set it up in my living room, but the quality seems well made.

We have the Marmot Limestone 4P orange and sliver tent that according to the REI website was discontinued in 2023. The footprint we received fits this tent perfectly. The carry bag that the footprint comes in says Marmot Limestone 4P. Just place the two red marked connection points to the front of the tent.

Too expensive for that piece of material!

Exact size for protecting the bottom of my Marmot 4P Limestone tent. I like the quality that Marmot has engineered into their products and I want to protect the floor material as much as possible from damage caused by sharp stones and natural debris.. The footprint folds up to a neat compact size to fit into the storage bag that came with it.I would definitely recommend this product to anyone seeking to add additional protection underneath their tent.

Great quality for the limestone tent. A shelter or ground cover for the camp site.

Not the right size for my Marmot 4P Limestone

This footprint is specifically for the backpackers, given the price as the car campers can buy the sized tarp from Walmart for much less. I have been using tarp for my camping, as it keeps the tent base more protected, and less likely to get damaged from the sharp stones and sticks under it in the campground. It also keeps tents useful for longer as they're useless once the bottom gets ripped due to any reason.A footprint also helps to keep the tent warmer, especially in snow and rain, but it should be laid out just right on a slightly sloping surface so that the water or melted snow does not pool under the tent. It also needs to be the same size as the tent footprint. Given that this footprint is for a 4 person tent, it is the right size for my 3 person Coleman tent as it is roughly 8 ft by 7 ft, the same size as the Coleman tent footprint.This footprint is really light and comes in it's own sack and can be taken backpacking. However, for campground car camping a thicker tarp can work too as long as it's the right size. This footprint is more flexible than the typical tarp so it can be used for a variety of other tasks like some other reviewers have mentioned, like hanging up food, packing up equipment, or laying it out on the ground and more. It's sturdy and well made and the straps are longer and sturdy so they allow for multipurpose usage.
