A Great Tool For IT Users
I have not tried the cloning feature yet, but I needed to clone my Windows 11 SSD to a larger SSD. I hooked the unit up to my laptop and turned it on with a new 2TB NVME card. I was immediately prompted on my laptop to initialize the SSD. For those of you who are not sure what to select, use GPT if you are using the drive to boot Windows 10/11 on a system using Secure Boot. The cloning program I used on my laptop cloned the entire SSD internal drive to the new one and after swapping the 2 drives, my laptop booted up on the new SSD as if I had been using it all along. The cloning process ran much faster than I expected it to. If you are now wandering what program I used with this device, it was EaseUS Disk Copy. It is an easy to use tool when you are expanding a Windows 10/11 bootable drive to a larger drive that also has recovery and UEFI partitions.

It works perfectly
Works great. Fast transfer rate, perfect accuracy. Good value.

Works decently enough.
I had to take the device apart due to the gap not being big enough to fit a SSD with heatsink. Even with it apart it did it's job. Depending on the type of drive or the manufacturer of the drive, you may not get the max speed for transfers.I have a Samsung 1TB 850 EVO SSD drive (almost 10 years old) and transfered 750 GB of different file types in a little over an hour at max speed of 525 MB/Second.While my Western Digital 1TB (primary) SSD drive (7 years old), also had mixed files that were approximately 100gb together, would take over 2 hrs. I had one 60 GB folder take seconds, and other folder with the same size take almost an hour..It really depends on the files and device you are transfering from/to.The device doesn't allow your computer to register the type of SSD you are mounting to it, their is no communication so you can't really do adequate checks, or diagnostics on the drive.

Worth buying
Works as advertised. One draw back is the USB cable length. Also the directions that come with or pretty useless. suggest watching a utube.

great item w/ bad instructions
this reader works really well w/ no errors. that said, being your typical chinese product, the instructions weren't for the item shipped. thank goodness my brother is a teck wizard. he encountered no errors while downloading, and then rewriting my ssd card

Useless constant disconnecting
As many have mentioned, the device goes into a constant state of connecting and disconnecting. Some people said that after unplugging and plugging back in, switching ports, or using a Type-C to Type-C cable that solved the issue. None of these things worked for me. I tested the device with 2 M-Configuration NVMe drives on three computers and had the same result. The drive would connect just long enough to show up before disconnecting and starting the cycle over.

Flawless so far.
I have not cycled that many different M2's through this doc only 3 or 4 but I've had no problems reading what I have put into it (so far) including one that wasn't readable with a different doc station a friend has, so I've no reason not to rate it 5 stars. It certainly doesn't take up much room in the desk drawer.

Much cheaper than a repair cost to recover data
Worked perfectly to recover what was on my laptop that needed $400 in repairs.I was able to transfer my stuff to another laptop easily. My cheap laptop from Dell needed repair and it was almost as much as I paid for the laptop new so this was a great and cheap alternative.Plug and use easy.
