Q: Can I use this paint for the inside of a solid fuel fireplace?

Externally yes not sure on the inside though. I used it to repaint a Barbecue.

Q: Would this paint work on a fire gard? If so, how do you cure the paint?

If the fire guard is metal and you remove all loose old paint and rust, you can spray it outdoors and like car paint it dries to the touch in 15-20 minutes and will fully cure overnight. I used it on a gas barbecue burner covers, so it gets very hot, and it’s been good so far.

Q: We want to spray a brass fireplace.. would we need to prime the brass first?

We sprayed a stainless steel bbq with no prime and its stayed on fine.just wondering if your brass has polish on it it might not stay on & may need to be sanded first..hope this helps
