This is a great hose that my 80+ year old mother can use (75 ft length) easily around the yard. Yes the flow is reduced from our old heavy hose, but it is well worth it.I'm not sure if it was the updated version that I bought two years ago, but sometime last summer it began to leak badly at the male end. We missed it though so I got another one that so far is good.Just this week I decided to cut open the first one and found that the center tube had pulled free from the end fitting. With the thing stretched out a bit that inner tube also pulled back a foot or so into the steel sleeve. I cut more sleeve to expose it. The inner hose was undamaged. Whatever bonding was used on it had simply let go.I can't be certain, but I'm guessing that you want to be careful not to pull this hose taut too forcefully since the sleeve will stretch more than the inner tube. I can't say if that's what happened for us or not.I'll also note that I disassembled the end piece and that is beautiful! Five-piece anodized aluminum screwed together and includes a bearing race and stainless balls in that to ease turning! I wasn't expecting that and lost a few balls.I still love the hose. Just don't yank on it! I may find a way to put a new end on this first one too.Again, maybe it has been updated to be stronger since I bought this first one.

I think this might be the first garden hose EVER in my life that doesn't leak and drip at either the faucet or the spray nozzle. Best hose ever! And light weight. I'll never go back to a heavy rubber hose that always drips at faucet and spray head. This was a great buy! Love it.

I've bought 2 of these and am planning on a third. Not because they've failed, no I just need another one because my garden is too big and I want to run 2 sprinklers at once.I've gone through so many hoses, but these are the absolute best. They don't tangle, they're not overly heavy, or too light. They're the perfect hose really. We're going into their 3rd year and have had 0 issues with them. Worth absolutely every penny.

Started leaking from the nozzle after about 10 months, so I removed it and continued using just as a normal hose; however, it started leaking at the screw-on part at around 11 months of use; so I can still use it as a hose because the entire metal hose is lightweight and not leaking nor kinks, but it leaks at the part where I connect to the house fitting sadly.

Lasted through New England winter with no leaks or breaks !Waited a year to write this since most of my hoses last only one season then leak after being out all winter. This hose passed the test and has my vote for buy again when needed!

Love love love this hose! So lightweight yet sturdy. It can be pulled anywhere in the yard so easily and so I ordered one for the backyard as well.

Best hose ever! I have been using this hose for a year and have had no problems, no leaks no kinks, and it is super lightweight and is very flexible! Also, it is alot less bulky than standard type hoses.

The hose has been great since mid-June, 2023. Easy to use and never kinks. However, the spray nozzle that came with it has broken and is now useless. I have no idea what caused the break, as we don't use it a lot, and rarely during the colder month. We live in FL, so it rarely gets even near freezing, and the nozzle is kept in the shade of shrubbery when not in use, so the sun should not have affected it. No vehicles can come into our yard, so it was never run over. Before it broke, the nozzle was great, easy to use and adjust. But now we will have to get a new one.
