Longer versions might have some flex to them, but this did not. It is seemingly very well-made, and therefore sturdy, and so I decided to keep it despite originally processing for a refund. It can have other helpful applications, but flexing behind drywall to help run wiring/ethernet is not one of them. Review: The picture that shows the drill bit flexing is a joke, this doesn’t flex even a tiny bit.

while it may be a good long bit if you need to drill straight on. Do not buy if you actually need it to flex. the thing is a solid piece of steel. No flex at all
