SopiGuard Sticker for Surface Duo Phone Edge-to-Edge Precision Vinyl Skin Wrap (ICY Mist Blue)

I'm really happy to finally have something to cover up all the cracks in the glass on my phone. It was starting to be dangerous to hand my phone to someone else because of all the bits of glass coming off. This covers it nicely. It's not too thick, so it does a pretty good job with form fitting my phone without being too thin. It feels nice to the touch and has made my phone look totally different. I should've gotten the gold or blue. I didn't realize there were other colors. It came in a cardboard shipping envelope inside of a branded letter-size envelope. It came with an alcohol wipe and a microfiber cloth. All of that was inside of an flat Amazon bubble mailer. The cover for the front of the phone needs to be applied carefully, since there's a cutout for the reflective Microsoft logo. Otherwise, it was pretty easy to install. I just hope it doesn't peel off later. I'll update if it does.

If you want to protect your Surface Duo, you need to get this and put it on BEFORE you put the included bumper kit on. Once you have this on in conjunction with the bumper kit, you are at about a level 2 of drop protection. This does an excellent job of protecting the front and back glass from scratches and accidental bumps; to go to a level 3, you need the OtterBox Theorim case which I have already reviewed. Definitely recommend this skin!

So after reading so many reviews about the difficulty of installing these I was a little apprehensive to pull the trigger. However, I have successfully installed screen protectors on various devices for years and thought I would give it a try after finding no alternatives. Well to my surprise there are not hard and I found them pretty easy to install. Follow the instructions that come with it, and I advise installing the side without the windows logo first, get a feel for how they stick and then you should have no issue with the logo side. I lined the logo before pushing down the sides. I got it first try. Now for protection, while it is not for drop protection it does add a layer of protection on the glass panels the Duo has. These panels are fragile and can crack pretty easy, with these protectors I don't worry when using my device daily. So in my bag, setting on tables, carrying in my pocket, I feel my Duo is at a low risk of damage, as long as I don't drop it.... Highly recommend these.

Purchased for Microsoft Surface DuoWhy did I not give it 5-stars? After several weeks, the back skin corner at lower hinge is peeling up. This is bothering me so much that I almost gave it 3-stars. I'm not sure how I will address this; cut the part that is peeled up off to prevent more pull? tape it down...One other thing, I am using this with a bumper. It is a touch short on the vertical part. only noticeable if you get close and look. Zero appearance of gap would have been betterTo the good stuff...I did not buy this skin for "protection"I wanted my Microsoft Surface Duo to look like a Surface device. This Brushed Silver isn't exact, but it is close enough. I LOVE the way it looks. So, you pick the look you are after, you will get it and be pleased!Bonus: Since the Microsoft Surface Duo is glass all around, it could easily be dropped. This skin makes that less of a possibility because you get a better grip.The cut out for the Microsoft logo is perfect.Perhaps the peeling issue is my fault. I do not know. I clean it well before applying. But it is at a point that a finger will rest when holding, folding etc.

Kind of a task putting it on but looks great

I have this on my Surface Duo 1, and while installation was a bit of a bear, it works great. The back of my phone was cracked and this hides any of the imperfections. I don't use bumpers to keep a very slim and clean look to the phone. The skin is actually very textured, so you have really good grip when holding the phone. It is also less prone to sliding around when you place it down (for instance when traveling on an airport tray). Very durable, edges do not catch when sliding in/out of backpacks as it is pretty thick and won't peel up easily (or ever). Make sure to align very carefully - I aligned using the windows logo in the center. For the backside, I aligned using the hinge cut-out.

This is a nice skin for the money. It's a bit of a challenge to get it installed perfectly aligned to the Surface Duo, but I think I managed ok.The one area where this sticker is NOT as advertised is it does not extend to the edge of the device in either direction - there is a gap along all the edges where you can see the original white edge of the Surface Duo (see photo). I wish it covered to the edge so you couldn't see the white, but it would also probably make installation a lot more of a challenge.It stays attached just fine, but haven't had it long enough to comment about long term adhesion.

Carbon Black skins are like the fishnets of phones - they make everything sexier.Regardless of all the software and couple hardware gripes, the Surface Duo is one of the prettiest devices I've ever touched... and this skin makes it look even prettier.When putting it on the main worry I had is that the portion over the windows logo has super thin strips making the cross of the window instead of just a blank square, so you have to be pretty precise or it'll look a little funky particularly with the white Duo.My biggest takeaway though is that it makes the Duo feel GREAT to hold. Previously every time I picked up the phone I was scared it would slip out of my hands or slide around my desk and collect scratches. This skin has just enough traction to keep it in place and make it feel safe to grip. As such, I feel this provides more security than even a screen protector because as long as you're not being wild it shouldn't fall. Unless you plan on getting a far more expensive case, I would recommend this to everyone!

easy to fit and looks good with No air bubbles. my reason for giving only 3 stars is, there is No cut out for the camera ???. I used a shape knife to make the necessary cutting.

Nachdem an der Frontseite ein hässlicher Glasbruch mit dezenter Absplitterung aufgetreten ist, habe ich diese Folie bestellt und neue Surface Bumper um den Makel zu verbergen.Die Folie muss nicht mit dem Fön bearbeitet werden, da das Surface Duo gerade ist. Dementsprechend war die Installation kinderleicht.Zuerst auf dem Microsoft Logo auf der Fronseite anpassen, dann zu allen Ecken hin verteilen. Dann sollte die Folie vorne perfekt passen. Hinten sollte man sich am Scharnier orientieren.Der Versand aus den Staaten hat exakt 9 Tage nach Deutschland gedauert. 7 Tage schneller als zuerst angegeben.Ich würde die Folie für das Surface Duo wärmstens empfehlen!

Perfect fit. Easy to install if you follow instructions and so far, after 10 days, have stayed in place. As well as protecting the glass, makes holding easier as less slippy.

Easy to apply and makes a huge difference to your confidence in using the Duo. With all sides being glass, you’re never happy putting it down on hard surfaces. These skins make all the difference. I just wish is didn’t have the cutout for the windows symbol. I fear that might be a point of failure down the road. However, I can see why people would want that. No biggie.
