Bought this chair in March 2025, did self-installation as it was easy with already provided tools. But I noticed that the tilt lock mechanism was not working as expected, however i kept using it for few months as I didn't need the lock back then and chair was properly tilting fine. But after 3 months, I felt the need to lock the tilt sometimes and reached out to their customer support team and was pleasantly surprised by their speedy response. They understood the problem in one go, and arranged an onsite service visit within a couple of days.The technician came on time and fixed the tilt lock efficiently without any hassle. Overall, I’m really happy with how they resolved the issue. It’s good to see a brand stand by its products with reliable after-sales support. The chair is very supportive to avoid back pains, highly recommended to go for this.Comfort:Already have two other chairs, but the cushions and back support on this chair is highly efficient.Ease of assembly:Did it in 15-20mins myself, tools are already in package.Material quality:Overall quality is fine, except that the arm-rests could have been improved by providing some cushioning there as well.Back pain:Must buy for users facing back-pain, I use this for daily ~8-9 hours and in last 4 months, I never had the back pain.

Easy to install — took about 15 minutes to configure the product.The material is mostly plastic with a sturdy metal base, which seems good enough for normal use. It’s definitely value for money.However, the seat space is quite small. Your entire thighs won’t fit in comfortably like on a typical armchair, and the backrest sits right behind you without much depth. In short, it feels a bit cramped and could have been more spacious to better support the entire spine and seat area.The headrest also protrudes inward, which is perfect for someone tall as it gives good contour support to the back and neck — it’s at the right height for my husband. But since I am a bit shorter, it hits at an awkward spot on my head, making it uncomfortable for me.Otherwise, it’s an okay product for this price range. Looks-wise, it’s quite good.

Overall the Product is good value for Money. Well built & sturdy. The Only concern is i wished some extra cushioning.but they have a great range of chairs to choose from and i surely will buy a chair from them in the future.After Sales Service: This is 5 star because the service agent understood the Issue and dispatched the right part quickly without charging me as its under warranty. She also send me the Videos to fix it and it got easily fixed.

Purchased this product for home office use. And I need to sit for long hours along with back pain issues. Apart from that, I needed a durable product. After usage, I can say that this product serves the purpose very well. My back pain from sitting long hours in fixed wooden chairs is now much relieved, just after about 2 months of usage. And I feel extremely comfortable after long hours of usage through the day. If you take good care, the product feels durable - I just don't put it into rough usage as in an office environment with multiple users. The armrest is perfect in height with proper adjustment facility. Leaning backwards is also comfortable with good reverse pressure, unlike other chairs which can feel pretty weak sometimes - That was one of my concerns and I can say this Merlion Office Chair, from Da Urban, is a perfect fit.Customer service is also excellent. You should keep the customer service number handy, it would be highly useful.
