OEM Rear Back Glass Replacement for iPhone 12 Pro 6.1 inches with Reparing Toolkit (Graphite)

I was honestly nervous about replacing my iPhone 12 Pro back glass myself, but this kit made it way easier than I expected. Everything you need comes in the box — tools, adhesive, and the glass itself. The replacement glass fit perfectly and matched the original color and finish almost exactly. The tools aren’t professional-grade, but they’re more than good enough to get the job done if you take your time. I followed a YouTube guide and had it done in about an hour. Once installed, my phone looks brand new again. If you’re comfortable doing DIY repairs and want to save a lot of money instead of going to a repair shop, this is absolutely worth it. Just be patient and go slow — the results are worth it!

The kit comes with a ton of accessories to help repair the phone, including a scraper, xacto knife, tweezers etc. The glass backing is branded and the adhesive is high quality, can’t tell it’s not original. All that said, removing the glass is a very difficult job, requires a lot of effort, even with a heat gun and center punch it took over an hour of careful work.

I can't recommend this product for the iPhone 12 Pro. In my case, there was too much adhesive, and the glass had to be chipped out in tiny chunks, which the included tools were barely capable of accomplishing. Heating the back of the phone as recommended by the manufacturer helped to soften the adhesive ever so slightly, but not nearly enough to be much help. The magnetic ring is thin and glued into the adhesive, so it was the first causality, as was the first ring of copper wiring for the magnetic charger. No matter how careful I was, the magnetic ring held tight to the glass and broke out with it. The light was the next causality, as it was also embedded in the glue and came out with it. I do a lot of DIY work, I'm very patient and cautious, and work with technology all of the time, so this is not just the case of someone not taking care and proceeding too quickly without caution. When all was done, the back of the phone had taken a bit of a beating from chipping out the glass using this kit, so it was not absolutely level. As a result, when applying the glass with light pressure, it snapped in half. After 3 hours of hard work, I am extremely disappointed. This kit may be sufficient for an iPhone 15 or above, since I've read that they are built so that the back glass panel can be more easily removed. However, based on my experience, the vendor is misleading customers selling this kit for the purpose of successfully replacing the glass on the back on an iPhone 12 Pro. You might get lucky if your specific phone has very little adhesive, but that certainly wasn't the case for me.

worked fine for me. the tools are not as strong and will not accomplish your goal if you plan on just using these tools. I used my own tools ALONG with the ones provided. you need to apply heat, and look at some youtube videos on how to do it. I used the chisel method, got a real hammer and chiseled away. the glass provided is fine. looks good. no issues. it has a glue backing so you dont need to get anymore glue. good stuff. works.

I was trading in a phone but had a crack in the back glass. This item fit perfect and had all the tools I needed to get it fixed! The actual process of replacing the back glass on a iPhone is not something I would recommend unless you know what you are doing. This was the perfect solution to not taking a penalty for the crack in my trade in!

The product they send you to replace the back piece of the phone is outstanding. Matches very well to the original. With that being said, the product and the tools it comes with does not reflect on how challenging it is to change the back piece. The way iPhones are made it is practically impossible to get every piece of glass off without denting the metal that holds everything together. You have to make time and have patience if this is your first time doing this. I don’t recommend it for someone that doesn’t have patience. It was tedious and takes a lot of focus to not scratch existing parts. Used all of the tools, the exacto knife was ruined by the end. Had to file the small metal prying tool so it could fit between the glass and the metal. Other tools I used consisted of toe nail clipping tool to break off some of the glass. Like I said, the product closely resembles the original. The tools work for this project. Just might need some extra tools for more challenging areas. I’m very happy with the results! 😊 I would’ve spent $130 on fixing my phone.
