This is a very nice assortment of cotter pins. The last set I purchased (locally) cost almost twice as much and it came with fewer pins. I'm always needing to replace a cotter pin when I work on my yard/gardening equipment and this kit always has the size I need. They are also quite durable. I use these to hold the wheels onto the axel of my utility trailer and they have never failed even though I'm pretty rough on it. They stay put and don't break during use. There isn't much to say about how easy they are to use. They're cotter pins - just push them through the holes and bend back the tabs and you're done.

I only needed two, but it's good to have many more, and they are of very good quality and durable.

Bought to use as keepers on axle castle nuts. These may be too good for that use as they're very difficult to bend in place. They're rather springy and very hard stainless. At this price and durability, I'll easily find other uses around the farm for them. Good selection of several sizes.

This a good selection of cotter pins. Outside of being a professional mechanic, there are enough pins to last years. My only complaint is that I am accustomed to malleable cotter pins that bend fairly easily, these are 304 untreated stainless and I found them difficult to spread in tight places. I will probably use a torch to anneal these pins in the future.

I rarely ever use cotter pins but when I need them, I never seem to have good ones on hand. Thankfully these are stainless steel, so they are an improvement over what I used to use (steel, which seemed to rust rapidly). These are good hardware to have on hand for those rare times I need cotter pins.

The case was open, lost some in transit. The cotter pins were very hard to use for what I needed them for (for making teddy bears).

4mm are actually 3.6 3.2mm actually 2.6 2.5mm 2.2 1.6mm actually 1.26 I needed 3.2 ended up sourcing them out elsewhere delayed my work so if you need as advertised you're not getting as advertised.
