Perfect with a little adjustment
I almost sent this back when I first got it. Well actually I could had sworn I ordered Red Switches but instead I got the Blue ones. I went back and I almost thought even with the right switches it would be unusable. After searching for a replacement I went back to this one and read some reviews. A reviewer mentioned he replaced the keycaps which was my downfall with it as well. Let me explain. This comes with key caps that are painted on and a very bright backlight. The backlighting is completely useless, imo, if the caps are painted. Just as I was giving up I came across a reviewer that had replaced the keycaps and vola, it worked. So I found some 6$ key caps bought them and bam! Smooth feeling flat keycaps that allowed the light to shine through. Returned the Blue Switched one for the Red and it was perfect. As you can see from the pic it is only backlit with a white light. If you look closely you will see t he light shining through the keys with the new caps on it. For the price point it is obsoletely worth the money to get it plus the 6$ or so for better key caps. They keys caps were easy to replace. I had never replaced keys before and had little trouble with this. I will worn be careful with the bigger keys as I almost broke the enter key. Lucky for my my husband is a patient man and worked with me to fix the switch that I near pulled out. Go slow and easy wit the Enter and Plus key and you will be fine. To adjust the light hold the minus key down and push plus or enter for the brightness. I should add the feel of it is wonderful. I used it one evening for gaming to see how it worked. I use my number pad as my action buttons in my game and it worked wonderfully. I didn't even notice I was using something other than a normal keypad. If you have a compact, or tkl kb and need a number pad addon get this one. You will not regret it. The Red switches btw are silent, and the blue are beyond clicky. If you like the keys super quiet you might wanna get some o-rings for the key caps. I did add those as well because I like silent keys. They helped add a little bump to the linear (red) switches while stopping the caps for bottoming out which cause a click.

Great quality, affordable price
Feels high quality, feels lightweight, but still has a solid build. Backlit is not bad at all, can be adjusted or turned off. Switches are smooth, making it satisfying to work with when doing numbers. Great product for the price, and so far has surpassed expectations.

Nice 10key, needs better switches
I got 2 of these one black one white, my wife decided she didn't like it being separate so she's upgrading to a full size mechanical. Overall this is a decent 10key, however the switches work fine, they are not going to win any prizes. The 75% keyboard that Kisnt sells is quite a lovely keyboard with nice thoky sounding switches but they don't offer the linears in the 10key which is just... why?! Color was a near perfect match to the keyboard so that was nice. I'm going to keep the keyboard because I got it on sale during the Amazon Spring sale and it was $34 and now it's back up to $50. I will take that guy to work and enjoy it there. The 10key unfortunately is being returned. I will say this, like I said in my other review of the black version, if you want a hot-swap socket 10key, and have some nice switches that you like, and some fun keycaps, this is a really great value. There aren't many mechanical hot-swap 10keys out there with decent construction. I can attest that replacing the basic brown switches with a nice linear, well... I love mine. This is a decent solution if you want a 10key that's not going to break the bank, and gives you the option to customize it.

Tactile, Responsive, Affordable, Plug-n-Play Numpad!
I love this little numpad! - The Brown Switches are very satisfying to press, plus solid sound dampening in place to make a very pleasant sound per key click! - There is a nice weight to the whole pad that makes it feel sturdy and well made- definitely not a cheap feeling device. - The cute little flip stand to adjust the height is a great addition to help match the angle of whatever keyboard you are using it with - The USB C plug-n-play compatibility for PC was as simple as easy as it gets! - I enjoy the white LED background and the ability to adjust the brightness and light-up pattern styles too (I don't use the distracting ones, but always lit and the "ripple on key press" styles were very nice! - As is, the color scheme is nice! (I bought a custom keycap set to match my keyboard, and the caps are very simple to replace) All in all - great, simple, tactile keypad for those of us with keyboards that don't have the numpad built in! If i had one suggestion for future iterations, I guess it would be that having another row of keys up top (with backspace, calculator, etc buttons) would be a great addition - but that would involve form factor change and everything.

Great number pad for the money
Bottom line up front: This is a great, solid number pad that's inexpensive and has the standard 17-key layout. I'm very happy with the purchase. Highly recommended. I have a 10-keyless mechanical keyboard for my main keyboard. Recently I needed a numpad for some occasional data entry and began to search for one. It's frustrating and disappointing how difficult it is to find a good number pad with mechanical switches that has the standard 17-key layout. I really wanted to get the 17-key one since that's what I'm used to. Too many manufacturers shrink keys such as + and zero, and some even move keys like replacing minus with backspace. Why? Argh! Fortunately, I found this numpad and decided to take a chance on it. No regrets. This numpad meets all my expectations and was just what I wanted, albeit with a few minor annoyances that are easy enough to live with. Pros: The connector is USB-C so you can use a modern connector. It comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable so you can hook it up to older computers too. It has a nice weight to it and feels solidly built. The feet do a good job holding on to the desk. It doesn't move around when used. I got the version with the blues and it feels and sounds great. Every key press is solid and nothing feels wobbly. This is personal, but I like the color scheme. Too many numpads are all black, and this one is different and pleasing to the eye. Some minor cons: It lights up and has "effects". Why someone would want this, I have no idea. I find it annoying. However, it's easy to turn off the backlighting, and the numpad will remember the setting even if unplugged. The num lock light is a bright bluish-white which is distracting. It's nothing that a small piece of tape can't fix, but I wish the manufacturer had used something unobtrusive like a standard green LED. The homing bar on the 5 key is a little small. I wish it were slightly more prominent, but this is also not that big of a deal for me.

Perfect 10-key Number Pad!!
I purchased a 65% mechanical keyboard recently with the intent to purchase this Kisnt Number Pad separately. I don't need the number pad all the time but I do like to use it for imputing numbers (banking, for example) and I have a specific MMO game that has in-game keys bound to the Numpad. My smaller 65% keyboard easily fits on top of my 34" curved monitor base, up out of the way while I use my gamepad along with the number pad and mouse to control gameplay. Perfect setup for me. I also like that it is backlit since I keep my computer area dark to make gaming and streaming on an ultrawide monitor much more enjoyable. Anyway, for how inexpensive this is with its construction quality and mechanical Brown switches, it was a no-brainer for me. The only con I could possibly give this is it only comes in one color. But even then, the light color helps me to see the numbers clearly whether backlit or not. I would absolutely purchase this again if I needed it, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Very well made; works flawlessly.

Love it!
I love it has white light.. I always want all my keyboard has white backlit but always colorful 😣 I chose brown switch and it gives me feel like walking on a snow. Love the texture. I usually like thocky switches so prob change it later but so far it sounds and feels great.

Does the job.
I got a split 80% mechanical keyboard for work to correct my posture, but since it's an 80% there's no 10 key pad. So I got this. It's not as well built as my keyboard, but it does the job I need it to. A bonus is that the switches are mostly swappable. I say, "mostly" because the decimal key was stuck like solder. But that's okay, I don't use it very often, and all the important keys now use Durock silent tactile switches. Also I'm not quite sure how to adjust the backlight, though I suspect I'll figure that out with the num lock off. Edit: I've taken this apart to see if I could pry the stubborn switch loose from the PCB. Great news, all the switches are socketed (the black things on the back of the PCB in the photo). You just need to wiggle the switch nice ways to Sunday to get them out. Some of them are stuck so tight that standard switch pulling tools will break the housings. But a few guitar picks or pry tools like spudgers from a smartphone fix kit will get them out. There's some nice sound dampening features in here, like a foam pad between the switches and PCB, and a silicone pad to soak up the sound of the switches. And best of all, you don't need a heat gun or even a screwdriver to open this up, just a small standard screwdriver and a guitar pick will get you in there.
