Bought this radio to take in the RV. The Bluetooth was pretty flawless and the reception is decent. The tuning dial is extremely clear and numbers are large enough that this old man didn’t have to get his “cheater” glasses out to read the dial. Just kind of wish the radio volume went higher - not boombox loud, mind you, just loud enough to cover intermittent road noise. But definitely not a deal breaker. Overall, good value for the ~$20 I paid for it.

Great radio!!! Picks up just about any station. Has a great sound. We have had it for a long time now. It still works as great as the day we purchased it. Durable and well worth the money

This a basic radio that I use in my garage to listen to while I work. It's not high fidelity, but the sound is clear and it holds the FM station I listen to with no annoying drift. I bought it because it works with Bluetooth, so I occasionally use that feature to play tunes off my phone. I do notice that when I switch from FM to Bluetooth, the volume on Bluetooth is a lot lower so I have to turn it up a bit. Other than that, for the price it is a good functional radio.

Love this radio that sits on my counter in the kitchen! SO easy to use for those of us who are not good with technology! It is simply an ol' fashioned radio with a little bit of a modern touch! Perfect!!

When I first got the radio, I was really pleased with the way it was made. The sound was great, large numbers for dialing to a station. But as time went by, it started to have a static noise. The more you turned up the volume, the worst it got. I really wanted to keep the radio, but this happened to me with two other radios I had ordered in the past, but too much time had passed before I could return them. (Different brand). Great radio, but be aware of this problem.

The shell of this radio is identical in many respects to a Panasonic RF-2400D, the only difference is that AM selectivity is less than the RF-2400D, but adequate, plus, this model turns on the power using a different volume/power knob vice the band switch which on this model also includes a BT connectivity setting in the position that is normally the OFF position on the RF-2400D.I cannot speak to the viability of the BT setting as I don't use it on any of my BT capable speakers either.FM reception is ok, not as robust as the RF-2400D, but I suppose Panasonic found a good potentiometer to use as the tuning control (VCO voltage adjust for the DSP chip) and that's why as 4 AA powered DSP radios go, the RF-2400D is the best radio in this price range or battery power configuration that doesn't use longer lasting D cells.There is some hesitancy on weak AM signals, (broken volume level when trying to center the signal on a weak AM signal, does not give the tuned LED signal the RF-2400D gives for the same weak day signal) during the day, what will be key is whether or not the night reception improves any or becomes degraded compared to the outstanding RF-2400D performance night or day.Unless you require the BT feature, the Panasonic RF-2400D is a superior DSP radio powered by the same 4 AA batteries.
