Used these to get the 4mm spaces with my Millboard. Stuck electrical tap on the opposite side to the 4mm to work like handles and to save trying to find the faint 4mm mark on the spacer each time. A little pricey for bits of plastic but they certainly made it easy to get consistent gaps.

I've just finished a reasonable sized decking project and I can tell you that these are indispensable. Because they're star shaped they straddle the planks without sliding through or moving anywhere as you're screwing the decking down. There's plenty of them too so no need to lift one out and move it further op the planks as you progress. All stored neatly in a compact box when finished. A great design well made too.
