I'm disappointed. I thought it was safe to try these sleep patches. I'm familiar with the ingredients. The description sounded risk-free. Amazon is usually wonderful about returning items. Why not try, right? Wrong. I used my first patch last night, following their instructions to the letter. I could tell immediately that they had an odor, but it was not a chemical order, more like an essential oil odor, but not a light, flowery or gingery or pleasant (to me) smell. I woke up in the night with my head FILLED with the smell, and that was the end of my sleep. I immediately got online to return the item and it's not returnable. WHAT?? I read how other people had a dickens of a time getting in touch with the company for a refund. I read the entire product description, twice, and still didn't see anything about "all sales final". Maybe I'm just stupid or blind, but I still don't see it. I'm willing to take down this review, or modify it, if I can get a refund.Had I known this was going to be an ordeal, I wouldn't have bought TWO x $20 packages. I was going to experiment with these with one of my children. Hers is a separate order, shipped to a different state. Am I going to have to do this twice if she doesn't like hers? I told her about my experience, and if she didn't open her package she could send it back and it would be resellable.I've wasted $20 ($40 if my child doesn't like it) before, but I would have appreciated knowing the risk before spending the money.Now I have to rinse out my sinuses and wash my bedding to get rid of the smell or I'll have a terrible day and another sleepless night. It's not just a waste of money, it's been a waste of an hour so far today (and it's not even 8 am) and more time to clean up the mess.

Since I already take melatonin before bedtime, these patches didn’t do anything for me. But my husband seems to like them OK. The ad says that they help you sleep without tossing and turning, but that’s not accurate.

When I first bought these patches comma, they left a lot of adhesive residue on my skin. I had to get special cleaning patches from my doctor's office and then actually got some nail polish remover. I was seriously wondering if the benefit was worth the problem. The advertisements I saw for this made it sound as if you put the patch on, and you'll sleep better right away. This is not true. According to the packaging, it takes some time to actually work.I recently placed an order to get some more of them. I discovered that the recent ones I ordered had a cloth-like feel instead of a plastic feel like the first order I placed. I love the new cloth-like ones. They do not leave residue on my skin. The packet of 28 for the cloth-like ones is 4 1/2" x 6". The plastic ones come in a case that is bigger.Enjoy better sleep. I am.

Initially I purchased a different brand that didn't work at all. Then I checked to find they had about 1/10th the strength. So I decided to give these a try.It took a few days for it to really kick-in, but they did.I have trouble going to sleep because my mind won't shut up. I now go to sleep so much faster.Only 4 stars because I'm still waking up in the night. I'd give 4.5 stars if i could. But, instead of every hour or 2, I'm sleeping 3 to 4 hours in a row. And the quality of my sleep is greatly improved.
