Great supplement at an affordable price

Expensive, but one of the few supplements I've tried that actually is showing positive results toward gut health.

While I usually try to review supplements after some time, I suspect I will need several bottles of this in order to get the full effects. For only a week or so of use, I can't tell it's doing anything but I'm not having any stomach distress or other negative reactions. Four to eight pills per day is a lot for me on top of all the other supplements I use daily, so that's a bit prohibitive as well as the expense but I think I will probably continue to incorporate this in. I wish I could get IVIg treatment for my ME/cfs but I was interested to see if I could get even a fraction of the benefit from these IgG pills. I also have SIBO-C/IBS and suspect off and on leaky gut issues are a contributing factor there. The lactoferrin in colostrum also helps increase iron supplement uptake. I think this is worth trying out if you have SIBO, IBS, IBD, any autoimmune condition, or are recovering from a viral illness or severe food poisoning, in particular. Immunoglobulins help work against viral infections by flagging them in your body so that T-cells know to move in and fight them. They also bind to toxins and form a barrier. IgG may possibly work better against diarrhea-dominant gut issues as compared to constipation, so we'll see how that goes, but it may be better to take in the morning if you have constipation, and perhaps take something else to help keep things moving, like magnesium or triphala.

I have been using Elite IgG, both powder & capsules for several months for severe intestinal issues, notably diarrhea & bloating, keeping me house-bound much of the day. Doctors I consulted said there was no remedy as I have a past history of ulcerated colitis. A functional NP suggested serum-derived immunoglobulin, which is what Elite IgG is, to help a weakened immune system in the intestines. Searching online, a functional medicine doctor wrote that this immunoglobulin therapy may be the answer to many autoimmune & intestinal issues, esp. intestinal permeability. The doctor cited a test done w/ patients w/ diarrhea-predominant IBS, where after 6 weeks of 5g or 10 g per day, the IBS symptoms had improved. This doctor also warned that it takes time to heal the intestine, & that one may need to take the immunoglobulin therapy for 6 months before the intestine is healed. I gradually increased my daily dosage to 8 gm daily, adding some other supplements such as glutamine & gut healing blends. After 3 months the diarrhea is gone, the bloating is decreasing. I will soon decrease my daily dosage to 3-5 gms. I’m thankful to have found immunoglobulin, it’s fairly tasteless, easy to take, no adverse side effects. The powder is best for higher doses, the capsules perhaps more convenient. I first began taking an outrageously more expensive brand, & was happy to find Pure TheraPro’s Elite IgG, as it is more affordable & is an excellent product. I highly recommend it. FB

Nasty seed oil is in this stuff. Can’t be healthy when gasoline is used to help gather this substance. Cheap crap. Sunflower Lecithin is seed oils by product.
