These brackets work well and as long as you insert a fastener into a wall stud in least one of two holes holding the bracket to the wall, they will carry a good amount of weight. The brackets appear to be 3/16" mild steel and are very smooth with a nice finish. They also supply you with a bag of hollow wall fasteners that are okay, but if you can only attach the bracket with a hollow wall fastener, I would buy a higher quality anchor. I would recommend.

Was the look I was going for with the sturdiness to boot. Well worth the money.

I used these in a kitchenette in an Airbnb I designed. They are heavy duty and work great.

These are good, strong, brackets designed to be used for shelves. Not actually “floating” (the bracket can be seen), but they can provide the needed support. Please note: These are the brackets only, you supply the shelf boards.They come with all the needed hardware for any installation, including anchors for mounting on wallboard. But the supplied anchors seem to be somewhat light duty. I decided not to trust them and would suggest the brackets be screwed directly into a stud in order to obtain the full 220-pound weight limit. They also include a small level to help you get it right.

These brackets were hardier than I was expecting. Very bulky in weight/size. if correctly mounted with proper mounting hardware, i can definitely see this brackets holding up for as long as anyone would like them to be. I would say these are reliably strong. They dont bend, they are about a quarter of an inch thick.each bracket has 7 mounting wholes on it. 4 on one face. 3 on the other. This,allowing myself to be able to try more than one way to place a bracket to coincide with what i am trying to mount respectively, if need be.I also received them with a set of included screws. you'll notice in my pictures here the slab of wood it used as a shelf for my mess of network hardware area, not only are these brackets able to sustain the weight of this thick slab of real wood, but its able to also hold steady with the weight of the router, the switch, and the pressure of these coax cables weighing everything down because they are all tangled.

In the interest of full disclosure, as a trusted and unbiased Amazon reviewer, I was able to request this product free of charge.These are nice solid brackets and will support a lot of weight. A variety of fasteners are supplied. A very tiny level is also included. They are 3/16 of an inch thick and extend from the wall by 10 inches. There are also some smaller options available.What sets these apart from some others I had acquired are: (1) there are some slotted cutouts in the middle so you can easily adjust how far you want the shelf from the wall. You would do this during installation and once you decide on a position there are 2 additional screw holes to lock things in place. (2) As for mounting to the wall there are 4 screw holes in a rectangular pattern. The distance between each column of holes is 2 1/2 inches - you can't mount all 4 screws on a stud but you can mount 2. (3) The coating is much better than others - it seems like a type of powder coat though not as bumpy. The brackets arrived in perfect condition with no scratches.Very nice product. Normally, I am a bit reticent to give 5 star reviews but I think these probably deserve this rating.

It's pretty heavy duty but because of the length, it does have a bit of flex to it. I used it to mount a shelf on my wall and I notice it's got quite a wobble.I would use this decoratively but not for anything valuable. Would be fine for something like non collectable books.
