Rotary Hoist Washing Clothes line
I like this rotary clothes dryer because of the excellent engineering which means that you can raise or lower the lines with ease. I like the fact that the central post is very solid and not leaning like the Tower of Pisa which my old standard rotary dryer ended up doing. The whole dryer is solid. As I jack up the clothes line with its comfortable handle I wonder what my neighbours think of my washing flapping around so high off the ground! When the hoist is fully extended it must put the washing nearly 7 feet off the ground. I really don't want the whole neighbourhood to seemy laundry items so I keep it at standard height!Speaking of standard height??? I had the hoist properly set in the ground according to the instructions. I did not use the three "spacers" it came with and still the hoist is very high for an average size woman of say 5'5". I am 5'8" and it is just ok for me. Why have they made it so big? Am I missing something? Are antipodeans really that much taller than we are? That said, this is a great bit of kit, even for an oldie like me!!

Minimum height of line
A strong product plenty of line for a family but why is there no mention that the line is 6 feet from the ground!! Perhaps I should have notice in advertisement that a man is shown pegging out the clothes. The advert does say the line can be wound up and down but no mention of the lowest height setting.

Great line, arrived with pole bent
Great line, arrived with pole bent , but once I contacted them and sent a photo , they replaced the pole .Good customer service..as I say line worth every penny, goes up and down very easy..this is the second one IHave had, the first one lasted years.

Best purchase in a long time!
Can't believe I am about to wax lyrical about a clothes line but this is such a wonderful piece of kit! It cannot be compared with the flimsy ones I have had in the past. It is incredibly robust and lifts the washing well above our old apple tree. It was hard work to set up mainly because three big lumps of cement needed to be removed (left-overs from previous clothes lines) before the relatively easy business of positioning the new line began. Now I can wash two massive loads of stuff and all fits on the line. It's a lot of money to part with but it really is worth it.

Great piece of equipment
After trying a Brabantia c/w 'soil spike' which was so wobbly you feared for the washing on a windy day we settled on this. It needs about an hours effort to install it, dig for a couple of feet, concrete in the sleeve and away you go. Rock solid when in place, the hoist mechanism is smooth and the opening / closing of the arms can be done one handed. Very easy, highly recommended. Tip - use Postcrete for the base, one small bag is enough and it's set solid in 15 minutes.
