Lighter than a feather, and strong!
This trowel is so light it feels like it will actually make my pack lighter! After looking at a number of small pack trowels this was the only one I found that has a nice plastic end cap to help protect your hand when digging a hole and provide a good grip. The aluminum is very thin giving the trowel a nice sharp edge. Trying to bend it with my hands it is obviously quite strong for the weight and does not seem like it will bend in use. The business end of the trowel is also wider than many other options which should make short work of a small hole. Digging a small test hole in my back yard was easy, though the true test will come with digging a hole in rockier soil in the back country. Never been so excited to poop in the woods!

Comfy in hand, surprisingly rigid despite light weight
I have a couple different trowels I've accumulated over the years. One rides in my truck, one lives in my camelback for hiking, I have another the bounces between my between my moto-camping and back-packing kits. I bought this one because I'm revamping my backpacking kit leaning in the ultralight direction and am really impressed with how light and nice in the hand it feels. Dug a test cathole in the yard and the nub on the top really makes all the difference! Allows you to put more downward force instead of death gripping the sides to generate and meaningful force like on my others bent sheet aluminum ones. Not sure how it would fare with a motorcycle falling over on it, but I have a feeling a few more of these will make their way into my other loadouts.

Surprisingly lightweight & very reliable!
This Trowel is great! Way more lightweight than expected, yet it feels sturdy enough to dig easily through most soils. I have only used it a handful of times (thankfully) but I know that I can always count on it. Comes in a handy plastic bag that I repurpose to store the trowel and some TP in. I also love the plastic stopper at the top for easily pressing into the ground, which a lot of other trowels lack. Great value for the money!

Impressive Attention to Detail!
Purchased the BoglerCo Ultralight Backpacking Trowel to replace an old plastic trowel that I’ve been using since the 80’s. Featherweight and impressive attention to detail—serrations to cut through roots, punched out holes to reduce weight, and the plastic palm protection—make this an excellent choice for any hiker or backpacker concerned with cutting ounces to a minimum.

Like a feather
Unbelievably light, im pretty sure i could carry 20 of these and still not feel the additional weight. It does Flex When you twist it but still very sturdy during normal use. Love this product and have recommended it to others

Compact, light, works well but read the directions
Light, small, cuts the dirt well. This little trowel is surprisingly small; it fits into my potty pouch, which I hadn't expected, and it's so light it hardly feels like it is there. The plastic tab on the end means I can force it into the dirt with the palm of my hand without the metal digging into me. I just took it out to my yard (rocky, mostly clay soil, but it rained recently so it's not baked-clay hard) and it worked well for digging up a dandelion.Do read the directions! The clever design means that it can be made very light, but that does mean you need to work with its strengths, not against its weak points.

Feel good about supporting a small business
Amazingly light—such an upgrade from my orange plastic backpacking trowel. Came with a handwritten note saying I was supporting a small business and a personal email address in case I had any problems. As someone who hates supporting a mega corp like Amazon but does so for the convenience, I was touched and would recommend this product and seller to anyone.

2 features make this a superior trowel
Superior to other ultralight trowels in 2 ways: the plastic bit on the top makes it way more comfortable to use; and the serrations really cut through dirt and bits of root. Both of which help you dig a hole to appropriate depth. Has held up well so far, doing a monthlong PCT LASH this summer so will report back if any issues.
