I always make my reviews honest on every product I buy, nothing pursues me to do otherwise. First off, there is no brace ever made that can actually straighten a spine. They can however keep your spine from curving any farther but you better plan on wearing it 24/7! I think the main reason anyone purchases a brace is to get some pain relief. I think this brace might do the trick but like most things out there they are designed by a man with no thought of a women in mind! Right off the bat there should be a pad that goes in under the arm on the side that the brace sits on. We had to shorten the unit on the side to make it less irritating. Then there is the shoulder strap that I assume holds the entire unit from slipping downward. Even with a pad on it, it cuts into the side of the neck. I’m really not sure if this strap is really necessary. I’m trying it without and it seems like the unit won’t fall downwards. The middle strap that is supposed to hold the curve of the spine in could be a lot wider. You really need to pull that strap the tightest and I’m not sure pulling that snug like it really needs to be, is good for your circulation. That strap is also adjusted from your back side. Not sure if it can be reversed so I can tighten or loosen it from the front yet, will try that tomorrow. The top strap barely falls below the breast line and all breast sizes are different. I’m small breasted and it’s ok, larger breasted women might have issues with it. Lastly, now what do I do when I have to go pee? Better learn to hold it people unless you wear leggings or pants that can go over the unit. Otherwise you will have to loosen the bottom and mid strap at the very least to slide your pants and underwear off. Pluses, it light weight, black so it doesn’t show the dirt and won’t be seen under the appropriate loose clothing. All I know is if I don’t die from a blood clot from tightening the middle strap and it takes away some of the pain it will be a keeper. I’m actually thinking of carving a wooden curved pad that the middle strap can go through that will push more of my spine inwards and I won’t get a clot. If I find any other issues I hope I can update this review. Just remember people it’s fully returnable. At present I’d give it a 7 out of 10. If it gets rid of my back pain then I’ll rate it priceless, clots or no clots lol. Ok, have to take a lot of this back. It went from 4 star to 2 or possibly lower. The reason being that I have a long torso. I’m 5’8”, 142 pounds. Just got this brace all set up and then I came down to work today n my shop. He moment I sat the brace dug not my hip and underarm. I shortened the brace as far as I could go down so it’s not going to work for me. Prior to me sitting I got this brilliant idea that if I had two braces I could wear one on each side tethered together with pieces of the original straps but shorter. I just know this would have worked so well. Back to searching for an alternative. If your a man your torso may be long enough so this doesn’t dig in.

This product does absolutely zero to alleviate scoliosis discomfort.
