I am not electrically inclined, but this was easy to install and worked perfectly. The quality of the lamp is good. I am slowly replacing all my spots from halogen to led (the new led bulbs don't fit my old lamps). I paid much more for my current lamps. These replacement lamps are of similar quality. So far, I am very happy. Assuming something doesn't go terribly wrong, I will be buying more of these over time.

Quality is surprisingly good. Metal housing and replaceable fixture. I ordered this independently and matched to a transformer and wire and was super easy to install. This has seen wet, cold and very hot weather and has lasted 7 months so far without issue.

Really like these lights for many reasons... adjustable, sturdy, easy to hook up and hold up well in the weather. Perfect lighting for our back yard. Wish I purchased a longer wire and more lights, but the beauty is, I can always add more.

Just what I needed. Some of my old landscape lights are cheap plastic and years of outdoor use have left them brittle and (in some cases) broken.These spotlights are brass so they're sturdier and hopefully will last longer.They use a standard MR-16 bulb, but don't come with one. Fortunately, I had spares. So the lighting quality will vary depending on the bulb I use.I already had the wire run through the yard, so I only had to install these on an existing wire. And I've done that before, so it was no problem.

Retired and have the time for DIY projects. My landscape lights were first installed 18 yrs ago. Light fixtures are heavy duty brass, mounted in the ground with wide 8" black plastic spikes. Re-used two lights but had to replace their broken spikes. Required lots of digging, used a crow bar to crack/push the old ones out. Never want to do that again.Replaced three other original lights with Gardencoin's (GC) lights that are about the same size. Connected to existing yard wires and capped them with waterproof wire connectors. Installed new GC 8" slender spikes/light weight lights in the ground next to where the old lights were, and left the old plastic spikes in the ground. Didn't have to pay my landscapers their hourly rate and IMO looks just as good. Experiment with incandescent or LED lights of your choice.

When I tell you these things are beatiful AND heavy duty. I mean it. They’re built like tanks. With a Betiful copper finish and a double gasket inside to keep bulbs dry. It’s awesome
