I've been using this blanket for the transition time between cold and hot weather. Sometimes I was feeling a bit too warm at night. I don't know if blanket is the right word, it may be more like a heavy synthetic sheet. I washed it in the mesh bag provided, on the cool/cold setting, and dried it out of the bag without heat. I still kept my regular cotton sheet and comforter on my bed, with the cooling blanket on the side. If I feel too warm, I just push back my regular bedding and pull up the cooling blanket. It helps to wave the blanket up and down sometimes, to reactivate the cool feel. The blanket is soft and very slippery - don't try to lie on top of it, you might slide off the bed! (I tried it, didn't slide off, but I felt like I could.) Well, I'm satisfied with it so far.

I loveeeeee this item. For woman that have hot flashes or night sweat it is a game changer!! I wish I had this a long time ago. Highly recommend.

I had to raise the temperature and put on pajamas… It is a very thin cover and silky. It really keeps me cool at night. Cons: It slides around a lot and I just wish it was a slight bit heavier.

Got queen size. Washed it and it shrank, now barely fits the tip of bed.. That being said it does feel cool and comfortable.Only gave 4 stars for the reason of shrinking

I hoped the reviews I read for this were accurate and they were! This blanket is a game changer! I am currently renting a condo while I look for a home to buy and the condo is so hot. The temp is higher in the condo than outside. I have fans on, the A/C on, it is a wall unit, and nothing helped, especially while sleeping. I had my first night with the blanket last night and I stayed cool all night long, my skin was even cool to the touch when I woke up. 100% would recommend!

This blanket really does keep you cool. You do have to air dry it like the label says. No heat. Washes great in the bag provided. Did not have a strong odor upon opening but I did wash it. Would buy this item again. Highly recommend for hot sleepers

Very cool but definitely a thick sheet and not a blanket. Still love it but not what I expected.
