Essential for Smoothing 3D Prints
This stuff is a must-have for anyone doing FDM 3D printing. It's super easy to use and dries fast if you apply a few light coats. It leaves a mostly smooth finish with a slight bumpiness, which I actually like—it makes it easy to see where I’ve sanded and where I still need to work.I usually sand it with 1000 grit paper, sometimes wet sanding to keep the dust down. It takes about half a can to fully smooth out a 3D-printed cosplay helmet, and it really cuts down on post-processing time.Durability has been great so far—no issues with flaking or chipping. Just follow up with some primer, and it’s ready for paint. Definitely a staple in my 3D printing workflow.

Perfect..... almost
Bought this after seeing a Youtube vid. Great for getting rid of layer lines in prints and making them feel smooth. Layer lines no matter how small seem to get dirty in them over time, on prints that are handled frequently. I applied two thick coats, sanded with 400 grit and then sprayed with gloss. This made my top layer feel like an injection molded part, not 3D printed. If you have layers of above 1mm you will need several coats and more rubbing down.Only downside is that you should use it outdoors. I used an an extension and even though I put newspaper down and sprayed in the middle of the floor, it seems to form a dust mist in the air that gets all over everything a foot up from the floor, including my shoes. Not to be used in the house again as cleanup is a nightmare. Unfortunately winter is here so it's on the shelf for now until I can use it in the shed. Nearly marked down one star because of this, but perhaps that's a little unfair.

My go to.
I do a lot of 3D printing projects and this is invaluable for making a professional, well made prop. It fills in any imperfects or cracks and dries very quickly, on top of that it makes your paint stick like nobody's business. This is my go to product for painting and filling my prints as it can even be sanded for an even smoother end result. I recently used it on a big project to make a full set of mandalorian armour for my kid. It came out perfect, one happy child!

A little overpriced and it doesn't last long
I've purchased this 5 times, when i first started using it the price was great now it's popularity seems to of pushed up it's price.Perfect for getting a smooth even finish however if you follow the instructions that is. Light coats only as the heavier you go the longer you will wait for it to cure enough for wet sanding and gum up the sandpaper in the process wasting time.I start off as always sanding with 120grit then 240 wet sand before applying this product only a light coat and then will wet sand at 400grit before applying another coat 45mins later usually two to three coats are enough to fill in any scratches from sanding and light layer lines. If you think this will eliminate sanding it wont :) But it does help reduce the amount of time spent doing that drastically.

Great for 3D prints!
Works great to fill the layer lines between 3D printed parts (PLA in my case). I've got the best results with 2 layers of spraying with wet sanding inbetween (but one layer does the job well). Here's what I do for my PLA props:Proper method:240 Grit wet sand -> Filler spray -> 400 Grit wet sand -> Filler spray -> 400 Grit wet sand -> Very quick 600 Grit wet sand -> Primer -> PaintFast method (still pretty good):240 Grit wet sand -> Filler spray -> 400 Grit wet sand -> Primer -> Paint

Spray putty king.
If you are a 3D print printer and hate layer lines this spray putty is ideal, really smooths everything out perfectly ready for painting. Sands really well and is my go to spray filler.Give it enough time to dry as if you rush it can get sticky on your sandpaper and you'll have to get a new piece pretty fast.
