I've been teaching IELTS for over 10 years now (abroad and in the UK) and would definitely recommend this book. It's got all the right topics suitable to the exam, It starts off with some easier exercises and gradually builds up. Some really good speaking and listening material. In my opinion suitable for anyone wanting to achieve 6.5 Academic (which should get them into Uni.).

really good one. i found it in hasard but i don't regret it is helpful for ielts course. if u plan to do ielts exam you absolutely need it.

Very simple. Not efficient for those who are looking for band 6.5 or more. I did not get CD with this book, so all listening part was unable to access.

I'm belong from Hindi background and it's frightfully helpful for achieve your goals(IELTS). I'm happy to get it. In my opinion you should buy it if you wanna improve your vocabulary and prepare for IELTS.

Ho acquistato questo libro in preparazione all'esame IELTS e quindi devo ancora lavorarci sopra, la mia recensione al momento riguarda i contenuti così come appaiono nel libro così da aiutarvi nella scelta. I libro è di 175 pagine diviso in 25 unità, ogni unità c'è un test di verifica che segue lo schema dell'esame IELTS ovvero Listening, Speaking, Reading e writing (accademic o general training), ogni 5 unità c'è un test di verifica generale delle 5 unità precedenti. Gli argomenti utilizzati sono vari, e il numero dei nuovi vocaboli da memorizzare è notevole ed è riassunto alla fine in una splendida vocabulary list divisa per unità così da poterli memorizzare o ristudiare nel contesto. é presente un Cd audio con i brani utili per il listening. Che altro aggiungere se non che mi piace come è fatto e come è strutturato, magari un pizzico di colore in più non sarebbe stato male ma... l'importante è che sia efficace per il B2-C1 come viene pubblicizzato.
