Identical to the original part
Take your time and be patient,if you don’t have the correct tools order a tool kit-9.99$ , well worth it! The new switch doesn’t always come all the way back out to stop the vacuum. I attribute this to the broken pieces inside of the assembly, those are from what I believe to be when the vacuum has fallen to the floor ( about 4 times ) that I know of. The V-10 Dyson is a great machine , we got it on sale at Home Depot easily 6 years ago for 299.00 $. I have replaced the red plastic tube connectors, the battery and now the switch. I will continue to repair if and when possible , it’s a beast of a machine and to top it off all you Husband’s out there, “My Wife LOVES it “. So keep on buying parts like this switch because the other vacuums out there suck ! But not like the Dyson !

Did Not Work
I installed it and the vacuum did not work. I reinstalled the old one with a cracked trigger, and the vacuum worked (in a limited capacity).

Exactly what I needed and works great. Better quality than the original one that came with the vacuum. Inexpensive and easy to install.

Not sure if this works or not, I destroyed the vacuum attempting to disassemble it so I could install the new switch.

Quick and fast drop in replacement.
The media could not be loaded. Easy to use. Directions on page make it an easy swap. Trigger is more stout and takes less pressure to use.

Correct fit and function
Trigger switch works much better now. Make sure you watch the video. Feeding the wires through was a pain but that’s Dysons design.
