It is compact, waterproof, safe trimmer just like they advertised, this genz variant trimmer comes with 0mm (by default), 1mm and 3mm fittings doesn't have fittings for sensitive skins or for body for which you have buy costlier variant. It is preferably used for face and neck, still you can use it on body. It doesn't leave nicks or burns anywhere it is used (I'm not sure about sensitive skin). I suggest to power on the trimmer before rolling it on your skin else you would feel a pinch because blades aren't turned on. It works well on both dry and wet trim; wet trim was smoother. Remember it is a trimmer you cannot expect a clean shave using this product. Just like shave you gotta spend significant time to trim if you just roll it won't' slide like butter. It is suggested to change blades after few months but remember replacement blades are expensive more than half of this product price for a single blade. It also comes with two-year warranty. Overall superb does its job, expectations are met as they advertised (still not sure of sensitive skin). One con is wish they lessen the cost of replacement blade a thing to note before buying. I will update about battery life if I can later.

The trimmer is great for sure. But after using it for some time I realised that this trimmer is only good for zero trim or shaving. It is not good for trimming. If you are trimming 1mm or 3mm combs it will take a lot of time to trim and the battery will run out. So rethink before buying.

This is my first honest review of a product on Amazon. I am writing about the Philips one-blade trimmer after my first usage. The product is slim, light and easy to handle. However, there are some drawbacks as described below: 1. It's not a SHAVER. So if you are looking for a close shave, this is a bad choice. I read a few reviews before ordering but it doesn't work as described. The trimming blade has to go reverse on the skin, and you have to give a little bit of pressure to get a decent shave. It was really scary to put more pressure as I was handling it for the first time. 2. The trimmer runs smoothly without the blade, but when I fix the blade on it, it runs like a motor running out of power, so I am unsure whether the trimmer is functioning as described. 3. I spent about 15 minutes running the trimmer back and forth (reverse) to get a clean shave, but it still left a lot of strands on my neck. I was scared to push the trimmer harder on the skin's surface. I then used a razor to clean them up. So, if you are really looking for a trimmer, then go for it, but if you also want a close shave please think before buying. The amount of time to trim is way more than you get a clean shave with a razor. I am going to keep it as a travel buddy, so I can use it when I run out of blades.

Mine came with half charged, so It was ready to use out of the package, but still it is advised to plug it in for at least eight hours before your use and once fully charged can last for a week, provided u are using it for a quick daily 20 minutes shave It would be nice if more sizes of comb attachments were given, so that we can have liberty to adore different lengths of beard styles. So this makes me dependent on my old trimmer for achieving the desired length of the beard And forcing me to use this as a secondary trimmer for shaping and edging my beard, which it does at it's best. And for men, thinking of using it below the belt, be careful it can nick the skin used without bodyGuard (not provided in the package) So basically, it's an entry-level one-blade for beginners to get the extra perks you have to order for the higher end version of the one blade which cost around 6 to 7k and comes with all the chrome attachments and extra blades too

Great product for Beard styling and trimming. Only backdrop is you have to change the blade every 6 months which is not marketed in advertisement.

Pros: 1. Super Convenient and effective 2. It just acts like a normal blade 3. No frills trimmer setting of 1 and 3. According to me rest all settings are waste. Note that this is a physical attachment 4. Reasonably priced 5. Have been using it since last 1 year and no major issues. Cons: 1. Almost none! May be battery back up is on lower side (not a deal breaker) 2. When battery starts going down, speed reduces. 3. When it is connected to power socket, it doesn't work i.e. either charging or working but not both.
