Charlie's Soap - Laundry Booster and Hard Water Treatment (6-Pack)

I find that laundry boosters improve the efficiency of my (not very) high efficiency washer. Clothes and linens come out cleaner and softer; smell fresher without adding scent. Charlie's Soap Booster is the best product I have found for this purpose. it works exactly as advertised. At present I use 1 scoop per wash; I will probably reduce that to 1/2 scoop after all washables have been through one or 2 cycles with a full scoop and residues have been removed, including allergens from previous laundry products.

I have been struggling with sticky towels and laundry no matter what I do. I have horrible hard water. Tried more soap/detergent, less soap/detergent, did the tub clean over and over, did wash with 3 extra rinses... Never used fabric softener. Tried vinegar on and on and on... UNTIL Charlie's Soap used WITH Charlie's Booster... I have an HE front loader... Followed directions for first use... (might take 2-3 washes initially to get residue out of laundry) IMPORTANT. Then did towels - washed twice per first use instructions... Amazing. And I only did the wash cycle without the extra rinses. What captured my interest about Charlie's Soap is the selling point of how well it rinses... coupled with the Charlie's Booster. It only took 2 washes with only 1 rinse (compared to the 3 extra rinses I used to use). So instead of each load taking 2 or more hours... it's down to 35 minutes. So saving electricity as well as time and water. Laundry is soft. Stickiness GONE!

This helps for our laundry as we have well water that’s really hard! I won’t wash clothes without it!

Love this stuff! Best "natural" detergent/booster I've have tried. I went back to Tide after making our own and trying different brands, but really wanted a healthier alternative. I researched and this brand came up a bunch.

I've been using their products for decades. Having lived with well water almost 40 years, I long ago learned that I needed help with hard water, and this does great. Their products are eco-friendly and cruelty-free, top priorities for me.

We tried Charlie's Booster earlier this year, liked it because of it's ability to help with hard water. I went back to other large-label pods but they did not give us what Charlie's does. Definitely noticed that our washable items were soft and cleaner! We have terrible hard water at our home and so glad we found this! And we feel we are helping the environment at the same time. I gave 4 stars because we feel the packaging could be much better. I bought an air tight container to keep the powder in so we don't have to deal with the bag it comes in. There always seems to be powder on the outside and the zip-lock type of closure is not exactly user friendly.

I love this product so much, I had to write my first ever product review on this product. We have very very hard water in our home. It's so hard that we LITERALLY have to use a pumice stone to clean the hard water stains from off of our toilets and shower, and I do mean literally; any hard water stain cleaner such as CLR just doesn't do anything at all. Anyways, for several years we have had to put up with smelly and dingy clothes. Sometimes our clothes would smell so bad after being washed, that we would have to throw it straight back in the dirty laundry pile. Our clothes would always have this "faint and distant" smell of sour milk and urine. Although on hot and humid days this smell would not be so distant anymore, but in your face (nose) stinky. It was embarrassing to stand too close to people knowing how bad I smelled. In fact for years ( about a decade) I have been taking my clothes to get dry cleaned, instead of laundered at home, because as a business professional, I obviously can't walk around smelling like sour milk and urine. However, my wife still laundered my under clothes, tee shirts, briefs, and socks, because it would be too cost prohibitive to get those dry cleaned as well. Nonetheless, that smell would still manifest itself in what seemed the worst possible moments. The straw that broke the camels back was when I had my first meeting with a high level administrator in my new job and I was trying to make a good first impression, and there I was smelling like sour milk and urine (it was an especially hot and humid day). I had had enough! I went online and did some research and came across this product. So based on the reviews I bought it. And I did my own laundry using this product. And for the first time in several years my clothes smelled clean. I had forgotten how clean clothes were supposed to smell like, and it smelled wonderful. I would pick up every single piece of under clothes and press it tightly against my nose and take deep breathes through each garment trying to pick up the faintest smell of sour milk and urine, but it had COMPLETELY VANISHED!!!!!! Our clothes now smell fresh and clean. I love it! My kids love it! And my wife loves it! I buy this stuff two or three cans at a time. We will not do any laundry without it. I wish they sold it in bigger containers. Don't hesitate. Buy it. IT WORKS GREAT!!!!!!!!

Where we live we have very hard water. This soap really helps soften the water to keep clothes lasting longer. There is zero scent. Zero residue. Great for an added boost to your liquid detergent. Dissolves quickly, no clumping and a little goes a long way!
