Small, convenient and portable
I purchased this 5lb propane cannister from Flameking for my two burner Coleman stove/chuck box because its small, convenient and portable . It arrived without any imperfections no damage, no scratches or dings considering its management during transportation. Regarding its size, and wieght its definitely manageable and portable. Which is a plus for me because i have poor dexterity. Its small foot print will make it convenient because it can be placed just about anywhere, back seat, trunk or mounted to a truck bed. This tank will provide more than enough gas for a weekend getaway or whenever we want to head to the local park for an unscheduled dinner. All in all it's a good tank, that offers a great compact size, that does what it's supposed todo. Help keep you fed, warm or both.Hope this helps, enjoy a day away!

WORKS GREAT , NICE SIZE
Bought for RV camping LP grill because the mini green bottles don’t hold much & are a bit if work to refill. Bought the connector line too. Less weight, easier to handle, easier to fit in bed of truck than large 20 pound tank. It is brand new well made with a reliable shutoff valve. Would recommend.

Arrived in perfect condition.
It arrived in perfect condition, a box inside another box. Empty it weighs 8.6 lb and full it weighs 13.6 lb.It took 5 lbs of propane and that cost me $4.30, not only is it far more convenient to carry than a 20 lb propane bottle but it saves you money, the cheapest you can buy a 1 lb Coleman propane bottle locally is $5.47 so five bottles cost $27.35 and when they are empty you have five steel cylinders that you have to dispose of properly just creating more garbage since by law they are not refillable. This little 5 lb bottle allows me to run my two generators to keep them in tip top shape so that when a hurricane hits I know that they're going to run and produce electricity.I have 20 lb propane bottles for when "it hits the fan" but this little 5-pounder is perfect for my needs.

Perfect companion to my Webber 1 burner grill
I have a 1 burner Webber grill that I travel with in my Motorhome. This is small enough to put in and out of basement but big enough I don’t have to worry about running out of gas while on the road. Much more economical than the 1 lb green bottles

Fantastic value!
5 lb propantis like the perfect size for any regular vehicle! The fact that it can last a few days on cooking makes it versatile enough to connect to other propane system like portable fire ring. It's very light, small and doesn't take up much space. I powder coated mine and took a few spray paint to custom color mine so I know it's mine!

ARRIVED IN GOOD CONDITION
HAVEN'T HAD A CHANCE TO FILL THE 5 GALLON TANK YET, BUT IT WILL SUIT MY NEEDS IF THERE IS NO PROBLEM. PORTABLE, NOT A MASSIVE 20 GALLON TANK OF EXPLOSIVE MATERIAL IN STORAGE OR IN THE CAMPER, NOT HEAVY TO TOTE AROUND, WILL SIT ON A PICNIC TABLE OR ON THE GROUND NEXT TO THE COLEMAN 3 BURNER CAMP STOVE AND LAST ALL THE WAY THROUGH A WEEK OUT? WE'LL SEE. FOR NOW, HAPPY ENOUGH WITH IT, WOULD RECOMMEND

A great little tank for a great price
I bought this 5-lb. propane tank mainly because of its price, which is about the best I could find either online or in brick-and-mortar stores. I use it for my camp stove in place of the annoying and expensive 1-lb. disposable canisters (I made myself an adapter for hooking up this refillable bulk tank to my stove through an adjustable pressure regulator). For this purpose, the tank performs perfectly, and it's already well on its way to paying for itself by dramatically reducing the cost of cooking with my camp stove (e.g., a 1-lb. canister costs about the same as a 5-lb. refill!).The tank came with a little plastic level gauge that can be easily removed and re-installed. The gauge works by magnetically detecting the level of the tank's "overpressure-protection device" (OPD). At first I thought the gauge was faulty because after filling the tank for the first time, the gauge showed that the tank was almost empty (!). However, now after using the tank on a three-day camping trip, the gauge is reporting that the tank is almost completely full, which I believe. I suspect that when the tank is "filled to the brim," the OPD is so close to the gauge that it "saturates" the magnetic-detection method, rendering a nonsensical measurement. Now that the level in the tank has dropped a bit, the OPD is within the gauge's usable range, and the gauge therefore now registers a reasonable value. One final thing: the tank comes with a sticker on the valve indicating that the tank has been vacuum purged. Keep this sticker: since this was the first time to fill the tank, the guy at the propane store wouldn't fill the tank unless I could prove that the tank had been vacuum purged.
