I'm writing an interim review - I bought this kit to do a car audio install, but ended up not needing small gauge ferules. I did however use the wire stripper and it worked really well. Overall the two tools have a solid, quality, look and feel to them. If the crimper works as well as the stripper, this is a solid kit, especially at the price point.To the manufacturer: I do have one minor complaint about the kit that is worth noting, but not worth taking off a star: the box itself is a bit aggravating, it takes some effort to get the tool tray off, which you have to do very carefully, lest you jolt the box and knock out all the connectors.

Keeping in mind I have never needed this band didn't even know it existed, this is a very "person who has never had any experience before but needs to figure it out because you need to be able to power devices that will keep you alive in an emergency but it can't afford to just pay somebody to do it for you," friendly. Even i can do it.

This has been fantastic to have. I am now crimping most wires by default because it makes things way easier to wire up!

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this 4-jaw crimper performs. Mostly using it for 10 or 12 GA wiring and the crimper and the included terminals work great.

Great value. I was doubtful about it properly crimping small ferrules, but it worked "as-advertised!"
