These are so fun to grow! Be aware they like it WARM! In two weeks I have what is pictured. I don't have flowers yet but I am excited. Every time I go outside to check on them, they are changing and growing, Easy to start! This would be a good project to do with the kiddos.

I was really hoping this would be a gift I could repeatedly buy for friends and loved ones. Unfortunately, I bought this item for two different people and they both tried various attempts to grow these seeds and nothing grew. Not one seed grew. Perhaps if you live in a tropical climate you could have better luck with this beautiful flower, but I found no value for the money I spent.

My lotus plants started growing 1 day after putting them in water . As soon as it was warm enough I put them outside and this is the result after a week and half. I used the clay soil with black sand over it so it wouldn’t make the water cloudy and fertilizer it once so far.

Update - now the seeds have sprouted and there are leaves and roots. We planted today 6/9/25 as it took this long to get them sprout.Now we have to wait and see what they will do, followed all directions and timeline was waaaayyyy longer than we thought.So … had no idea you had to soak these and change the water daily. Bit of a hassle and needs to be warm water and in the sun.These are the instructions. We have been in and out of town so have not had a chance to start these. Will after 5/18 which is a few days from the return deadline.Seeds are smaller than expected but will hopefully grow. Will update this review once we get them soaked and started just letting other beware of the timeline intended for this.

The media could not be loaded. I bought my Lotus, and went by the directions, they have been in clean water as directed every 3- days to change to clean water. I've got them to grow you can see the leaves, NOBSPROUTS to put in the Aquatic cement/ soul they've been in the clean water for 2 and half months. Theyr in a Big Glass bowl, get plenty of sun, so far i have a seed and I can see leafs at the top that never bloom & NO WHITE SPROUTS to plant. It SHOULD NOT TAKE THIS LONG!!! They're taking up room on my counter, and at this point I'm ready to throw them away!! VERY FRUSTRATED!!! Som flowered just dint do GOOD in UTAH. I'D LIKE A REFUND

This was a great buy, I wish I had more detailed information on how to grow the seeds, came with vague information for a first-time grower, all the seeds grew, but didn't survive and I wish I had troubleshooting information with the purchase, so if you're a first-time buyer like me do your research before buying. I still have seeds so I will try again and see how it will come out. The seeds were packaged great, so was delivered on time. It's a learning stage for me and hopefully I will succeed on my third time growing. Thank you!

I was really looking forward to growing these seeds, but the results were disappointing. Despite changing the water every other day as recommended, after about a month the water developed a strong, foul odor, like rotten water.Out of the 10 seeds I received, only 5 sprouted — the others rotted and never developed. I expected a higher germination rate and a more pleasant growing process. Overall, not worth it for me.
