This is a great supplement to always have on hand if you get UTIs easily as either a preventative measure or to stop the infection from getting worse. There are some healing and anti-inflammatory ingredients such as Aloe Vera and turmeric (great to see that they have included black pepper since that is needed for the absorption of turmeric). The 100mg of pear can also serve as an anti-oxidant and help with urinary tract health, similar to cranberry juice. D-Mannose has been proven via trials to help treat and prevent UTIs, though if the infection is pretty bad or causes a lot of discomfort you should not substitute this for a doctor's visit. The DigeZyme enzyme blend helps with gut health and everything to do with proper food and liquids absorption and digestion which also contributes to a healthy urinary tract. I'm quite happy with the ingredients list, so far I've only used it as a preventative measure (in which case you can also use 1 capsule a day to stretch them a bit) and they have been working.

It's always hard to judge effectiveness of any particular supplement in isolation but with that said... I can't say I feel any different however they're easy to swallow, taste of nothing and the price is reasonable

I find this supplement a bit strange. It is called biofilm defence. Most biofilm supplements are targetted at biofilms systematically in the body, caused by lyme disease parasites and some types of yeasts. The description says it is for digestive and UT support. So yes I think there is evidence for digestive system biofilms but what does the digestive system have to do with the urinary tract? D-mannose is one thing that can bind to bacteria in the UT to help flush them out if you have a UT infection or want to prevent one. Olive Leaf Extract isn't really the first choice for UT infections, Uva Ursa is generally accepted as the best choice. It doesn't contain cranberry which most consider useful for UTIs. There are other ingredients that looks generally beneficial. Olive Leaf Extract is however good for yeasts like candida. Digestive enzymes can target biofilms in the GI tract if taken on an empty stomach, but generally people prefer to take things like serrapeptase and nattokinase for this. If you take this with food it will just digest your food. If it really was a biofilm defence supplement I'd expect more lipophilic antimicrobial compounds, e.g. monolaurin is the top one. So I think the marketing desciption of this product is confused as is the list of ingredients. But I don't mind taking it just as it has OLE in it and some enzymes and anti-inflammatories.
