Tasty and easy to drink (when mixed well)
I use with whole oat milk and overall I find it superior to the optimum nutrition (ON) or bulk powder. ON feels thicker and its vanilla flavour is not as nice I think the base powder isnt as tasty but this one behind the vanilla tastes better and much less like just a strong pea protein taste. The powder seems to dissolve better and seems finer making looser/less thick and heavy shake which I prefer. Texture is not grainy its more like a fine flour that catches a little bit at the back of my throat which sounds horrible haha but honestly its acceptable and kind of expected for these shakes. The sweetner seems to be a little less well mixed in than the other shakes i've tried including USN Diet fuel and seem to have grains that kind of hit your tongue noticebly like if you grind sea salt on chips you know the crystals are there :D. Minor gripes overall not perfect but I think for me its above the others. I feel satieted but light after rather than bloated and full or nauseated. It doesnt seem to claim complete amino acid profile but considering ON does and only has pea and brown rice and this one has those and more so I expect im not missing out on anything. --------- Edit: Ok so I shake for a bit longer and the sweetner is mixed evenly and it doesnt catch in my throat seems obvious in retrospect haha. When I can find it I mix with one of those springy metal mixer ball things that comes with the shakers and it also probably helps mix it quicker and break it up a bit. For me the taste is good a little nutty a little like shortbread when im hungry Im happy to have it there as a snack or meal replacement its not hard to drink its pleasant. Little tip to save money get this cheap one and make something nutritionally closer to the extreme meal replacement one with a tablespood of chia, milled flax and oat powder. I can't really fault it now so it probably deserves 4.5 or 5.

Best vegan protein powder!.
This is the best vegan protein powder out there in terms of quality and price. I prefer the unflavoured one as I can use it to cook or for protein shakes. You put the flavour you want, simple. Well on the budget, well on the stomach and well on your muscles. Good brand, I like the flavour of the unflavoured XD. Mix well, works for savory or sweet dishes /dessert and soups. I make my protein shake usually this way: 500ml of soya milk, bit of cinnamon, bit of ginger, bit of coffee powder, bit of sea salt. Quite good in the afternoon before gym. You're welcome!. The Protein Works, Works!.

Chocolate is good but the vanilla isn't very nice on its own
The chocolate tastes pretty good and is fine mixed with water. 2 scoops plus 500ml keeps me full and fuelled for ~4 hours with only 250 kcal (made up like this it's like the Huel ready-to-drink thickness). Replaced 2 meals a day and lost 2lbs in one week (I'm not usually a dieter, but some medication I've been taking is stretching my jeans!) It is a bit grainy, but not too lumpy. I imagine the texture is part of what keeps your stomach feeling sated tbf! The vanilla is grim with just water and has a strange aftertaste, but I've been mixing one scoop with half water + half oat milk, a banana and some peanut butter and its really delicious, thick and filling - and tastes very pudding-y! I've been having this in the evening and it staves off my late night hunger pangs. I've found the protein boost has reduced my sugar cravings too. Have re-ordered some different flavours to try. Realistically there is half the number of portions they say on the packet, if you're using it for a whole meal replacement (rather than boosting your smoothie). Tried one scoop and it just wasn't satisfying enough. Still think it is good value for money though at about a quid a meal.

Why change the ingredients?
Previously I would have considered this product one of the cleanest forms of protein available on the market. So why then at a time when UPF products are getting such high profile coverage for their negative health associations, would a company chose to remove multiple sources of protein from the product (pumpkin and sunflower) and add in thickeners (xanthum and guar gum) which are awful for gut health. Such a shame because it was really hard to come by a decent unflavoured product and now this one is just as bad as the competition.

Stick with the flavours
I switched from whey to vegan powder due to acne outburst. Ordered both the choc silk and unflavoured. Choc silk I take as a protein drink. No complaints at all. Mixes well. Easy on the stomach. Good taste. Slightly grainy texture but in a drink I don't mind it. Highly recommended. The unflavoured is a bit more challenging. I use this in my morning oats. The grainy texture is more apparent. Maybe due to the lower liquid content compared to taking as a drink. But I wouldn't want to take the unflavoured as a drink. For me it's an ingredient amongst many and any earthy flavour is masked. But in morning oats, the texture is a struggle. Haven't tried in other recipes yet (flapjacks etc). Maybe that's where it is best used. In short, for a drink, the flavoured products are good and I will buy again. Haven't found a use for the unflavoured yet.

Oat milk yes. Water no
The chocolate silk with unsweetened oat milk is absolutely delicious and mixes very well. Initially tried with water and it wasn't nice at all so best avoid.

Taste is not the same as Whey protein. High quality plant based ingredients.
The taste is something to get used to as it’s not as palatable as Whey protein as a result I have switched back to Whey. The ingredients are all healthy and nothing artificial but not something for everyone. The powder is very light and dusty like chocolate powder. Comes in a decent packaging and is priced competitively for a 1kg pack.

Don’t realy like the taste. But the ingredients are very diverse and seem to be quality. However, I feel good after eating, it doesn’t have a strident taste, so if you want to make pancakes or oats and add jem, you won’t feel much of a difference. It is pretty neitral in combination with food
