“My Dillons are so light and comfortable, and they go with everything. Seriously: life is better in these shoes!” – Greta M. DILLON – The Classic Sneaker Has Never Been So Comfy Take an iconic style, like the classic sneaker, and build in Xero Shoes DNA, and you have a look that pairs with your favorite outfits. Plus, the barefoot-inspired comfort lets you enjoy every moment. Work, play, drinks, dancing… You’re doing it all in the Dillon. Great Ground Feel… from a Thick Sole? This type of sneaker typically has a thick sole, and some long-time Xero Shoes fans may look at the Dillon’s sole and think, “Xero Shoes has sold out!” It’s okay. It’s a fake-out. The sole looks thick, but it actually has a cup-like design, where we’ve just wrapped our flexible, thin, FeelTrue® sole up around the upper. This creates an elegant look while still giving you ground feel and barefoot-style comfort. LETS YOUR FEET BREATHE Your feet stay cool and comfy with the Dillon’s super-lightweight, breathable, engineered mesh. And each vegan-friendly shoe weighs in at just 10.4 oz. (M9). When Dillon lets you Live Life Feet First, you may forget you’re even wearing them… until someone stops you to ask, “Where can I get a pair of those?” WE MAKE EVERYDAY SHOES SO COMFORTABLE, YOU’LL FORGET THEY’RE EVEN ON. If your feet don’t feel as good at the end of the day as they did in the beginning, you haven’t tried the Dillon. Life-changing comfort and superior performance come from letting your feet do what’s natural – bend, move, flex and feel. All Xero Shoes feature a wider, foot-shaped toe box that lets your toes spread and relax, a non-elevated “zero drop” heel for proper posture, low-to-the-ground design for perfect balance and agility, and a flexible sole that gives you “just right” protection so you can bend, move, flex, and Live Life Feet First!

Maybe the best casual minimal shoe for everyday use.
The Dillon's are really comfortable minimal shoes that don't look ridiculous. They've been my everyday shoe for over a year now, including for running and so far the soles show no sign of wearing down. They offer great ground feel, especially if you take the insoles out. They are pretty flexible as you'd expect for a barefoot shoe. They are nice and breathable for warmer weather and exercising. Decent grip/traction. Really can't say anything bad about them, other than their cost I guess in comparison to 'normal' shoes. Only problem is being white of course they've really not aged well. But that's not a reflection on the shoes. I would happily buy another pair, maybe in a darker colour this time.

Very comfortable, but slippery
Before owning this shoe I didn't know that shoes can be this comfortable. It really feels more like a sock rather than a shoe, but obviously it still provides enough protection so it doesn't hurt if you step on a stone or something. It's my first ever barefoot shoe, but it's indeed a whole new world. On the outside it actually has the same width as my Vans Shoes, but in the inside - probably because there is more space for my toes - it feels wider and more spacious. One issue that I have and I think it was mentioned before is that it doesn't have a lot of grip on smooth wet surfaces, so you have to be careful when you walk on the rain and it's probably not your best choice in the winter either.

Comfortable and stylish
Needed a new pair of casual trainers. Wanted something that looked classic. Looked at various barefoot brands to find a pair I liked. I am happy with this purchase. The quality in the construction is evident, which can be lacking in some brands. This is the second pair of shoes I have now bought from Xero, ans won't be the last.

Comfortable, smart and minimal.
I have many Xero shoes and sandals, and love the brand. I got these for work as I wanted a less-formal look while still being appropriately smart. They deal with that, while being supremely comfortable. I suppose if you aren’t already wearing barefoot shoes, you’ll find these a shock; if you are, you may find them to be a bit more squidgy - a bit less responsive - but the ground-feel is still pretty good. I have wide feet and these stretch and accommodate well. Expensive, but the quality is much better than the cheaper barefoot shoes on Amazon.

Very comfortable but not durable.
They are very comfortable and they look good for barefoot shoes. The problem is that they didn't even last 12 months before I saw a hole in the sole of the shoe. I would have expected better quality at this price.

Poor Quality
Stitching at heel began to fail inside shoe, after one day of wear! Exposing sole.

Minimalist, but not truly barefoot
First up, these shoes look great! They don't look like barefoot shoes and can go smart casual with any outfit, which means they fulfil the purpose for which I bought them. They are beautifully understated. Secondly, though, note that these I am calling these minimalist and not barefoot for a couple of reasons. The moulded sole which makes these shoes look so great significantly reduces the lateral flexibility and ground feel of the shoe. I am aware that I am wearing these whilst I am walking, and my feet become sore if I walk too far in them - which never happens in my other barefoot shoes. Comparison on ground feel and flexibility between these, my cons, and my vivo's - these sit closest to the cons. The flexibility just isn't there to the barefoot level, and the ground feel (even after I took out the insoles) is closer to a conventional skate shoe without an insole than a truely barefoot shoe. The big deal for me, however, is the toe box. It is too narrow. Again, when compared to my vivo's and my cons this runs much closer to the width of my con's. (The sole width at the toe box is pretty much the same as my converse distros, although the shape of the shoe doesn't narrow at the toe like the cons.) My feet aren't cramped, but they are definitely in a shoe and a little constricted. These just don't have that truely barefoot feel. The wide toe box and the rounded, flexible sole are the barefoot shoe experience in my opinion, and these shoes come up short with both. So, in short, these are a great pair of minimalist shoes if you need something for looking a bit more 'normal' for work or heading down the pub without your feet being crushed, but they aren't going to be your go to barefoot shoe. If you want the full barefoot experience, check out vivobarefoot; if you want a minimalist skate shoe that won't cramp your toes too much and will be fairly light on the foot, these could fit that bill. If that is their aim, then they have almost nailed it (they just need a wider toe box and a cheaper price tag).

Seem to run on the small size
They’re nice shoes but the 12s I ordered seem to have run on the small side so my toes are squished up the front, entirely negating the wide toe box. My prios were a 12 and they fit great, so no idea why these don’t
