Awnlux Black Modular Slide Topper Awning Slide Out Protection for RVs, Travel Trailers, 5th Wheels, and Motorhomes -7'6" (7'1" Fabric)

I ordered 3 toppers according to the charts and they fit perfectly. Very easy to install and look great. The instructions were very clear and helpful. My son in law and myself installed the toppers on my fifth wheel in about 3 hours. After about 6 months the pocket in one of the pieces of fabric came partially apart. I contacted customer support and they got right back to me and are replacing the topper with no questions. I would highly recommend Awnlux RV slide toppers looks, quality and especially customer support.

Bought this to help with the heat and to keep debris off my slide top . Instalation was fairly easy, the directions was very informative and walked you through each step along with descent pictures. All in all it took my son and I about 2.5 hours to install a 13'6" awning. You will need 2 people and I highly recommend using a good silicon based adhesive on the awning track that attachs to the camper below the roof line. There is no Gasketwith the kit to prevent water getting in behind the mount or screws. I highly recommend this product, so far it is holding up very well in the South Texas heat and the way it's built it looks as if the camper came with this from the factory. I just ordered another awning assembly for my smaller slide and I am excited about having all my slides covered and staying cooler in the summer....

Easy install and works as described. Took me about 2 hours to do by myself. Only part that required a second person was lifting the awning into the brackets but they support poles don’t attach, just pressure fit. I got the 13’6” and wish I would’ve gone up a size because the awning comes just to the edge of the slide out so there’s potential for water to get underneath it.

I am very happy with the awning design and construction and the instructions were easy to understand. It is easy to install if you have the tools and know how to assemble things. You need two people and at least two ladders or scaffolding since it requires holding it up to install. Falling off the ladder was my only problem. Since it is new I can't speak about how well it will hold up but it looks sturdy and the fabric is strong so I hope for many years of use. I can recommend it but caution anyone planning to install it to understand it is "relatively" easy to install if you are a real handy person and have experience with tools and assembling things.

Fits on 2021 Dutchman Astoria 2903BH. Made under the slide out and the whole RV in general a lot cooler.

Very satisfied with the customer service. The email to double check measurements prior to shipping gave me confidence. Overall shipping pretty fast considering had to go through customs. Product as good as I could expect and comparable to other known brands. Supplemental info if you are planning to install on Grand Design Solitude 344 GK right slide (16’) the awning frame for front will force you to shift topper toward rear and will require you to buy a 28” x 3/4” aluminum hex bar to provide proper support through bracket.
