Valrhona Dark Chocolate Bar - Gourmet French Chocolate 70g(Pack of 1) (CARAIBE 66%)

First of all, been soaking up and tasting 90%er for10+ yrs and order three of your bars. And, I read thru your long hit list on how to complete the tasting of your bars and anticipated it would be unbelievable, was disappointed. I love your marketing, however, I also purchased at the same time 86% intense ghirardelli single cube wrap and went thru your same tasting process and to my pleasant surprise the cubes are about 18% smoother tasting and fresher!! Like a fine wine, don't follow some of the bs marketing stuff, wait for the taste! But, maybe I didn't give the bar enough time??

I love the 85% one. My girlfriend love the 100% one.

If you like dark chocolate, you'll die for this amazing French bar.

Yes, like others have said, a little pricey...but worth it. This is directly from Valrhona...shipped very nicely and fast...and so, so, so fresh...super happy. The best pricing is with the discs...which are very good...but the texture of the bars are superior...being snappy like quality chocolate...then softens when eating...whereas the discs are overall soft without so much of the tempered texture. Bars are more costly, but the best. Also, their shipping is reasonable and does not go up much with larger orders. Just go for it and treat yourself.

Their powder chocolate is my very favorite chocolate in any form.This bar though, to me, isn’t as good as say, Guittard’s 100% cocoa baking bar.
