Ring is way too big
The ring that is supposed to hold the shade to the lamp is WAY too big, and I have no idea how to fix that. I didnāt see anything about the size of the ring to fit onto the shade. I would need new hardware but then the shade is useless because it requires the hardware it came with to attach the shade itself. I waited too long to return it or I would

Instructions Are Nearly Illegible
The instructions for these are very poorly written. Once you get past that and figure out how to put these together they donāt look bad. But please, make sure when youāre putting them together to put your light bulb in BEFORE you start putting the shade on the metal form! It makes a difference!Once I got the second one put together, with the light bulb in it this timeš¤¦š»āāļø, I took it over to my lamp to screw it in, and realized the shade was going to go down too far, hitting the switch that turns the lamp on and offš”. So I went through all that trouble, twice, for nothing! I guess if you wanna take a chance and see if they might fit you can, but itās just as easy to go to a store where you can pick the lamp shade up and inspect it, see if itās what you really want and need, and not worry about if itās really worth it to send it back or if itās just a waste of money. Thatās just my opinion, itās up to you.

Pleated lamp shade
Thes things are tiny ! Easy to put together, and itās nice to have two new clean lampshades for my lamps, but they are only half the size of the ones that came on them new, which I had already considered to be small for the lampsā¦

Didnāt love putting them together
Didnāt love having to assemble these. It was tedious and annoying. But the finished shade is gorgeous and I love them

Fixing rings are not included!
No instructions so you have to rely on the video provided in the description on Amazon. I had *assumed* that fixing rings were included since they were shown in the video, but no such luck. (I found a supplier on Amazon, $7.19 for a pair). One thing they don't tell you is how many pleats to put in each ring segment! By trial and error I found that alternating 6 and 7 per segment works perfectly. The shade popped open nicely and I'm sure will look great once the fixing rings arrive.
