Started giving my pets olive oil or cod liver oil when I had hairless rats (known for dry skin). I was asked lots of times how I manged to keep them in good condition. Recently I have acquired 3 ferrets and was told to use a product called ferretone.. after a bit of online research I found that this was a bit too high in sugar and could cause problems if used long term. Through a friend of a friend of my husbands, salmon oil was mentioned and after a bit of digging online I have decided that this is the right product for for us. I now have 4 cats, 3 ferrets and 12 rats on this supplement. I can say I don't have any issues with palatalbility.. they all LOVE it.., I'm not quite following the instructions though, I'm supplementing the rats twice per week, the ferrets every other day and every other day for the cats too... I'm just going to sit back and see do I get the shiny monsters.. if I order another bottle I will update the review.. great price .. buy the way guys Husband wants to know is it safe for him to take and if not how to buy the human grade..UPDATE one week in and i have noticed the difference in my rats and ferrets coat.. feeling softer and starting to shine.. no noticeable change with the cats just yet. Its nice to see the ferrets starting to look good as they are loosing the winter plumage, my male is half angora and is looking less tuffty. I'm now on my 3rd bottle and have recommended this product to friends and family. They have purchased some after I gave them some to try and are pleased with the results. One dog had dry skin and another has some joint problems. Both dogs have shown improvement since using this product.

My German Shepherd Dog had hot spot itches that were driving me mad not to mention her. I had tried everything! Vet prescribed shampoo and cream, allergy tablets, tea tree oil, cider vinegar, baking soda and many more home remedies. After reading the review of a previous purchaser, I thought I would give this a go too. At first I didn't see any changes and she continued to scratch and eat at herself but gradually the itch seemed to get less and now she is just scratching as you would expect any dog to do. The little spots have all cleared up and her legs and tummy are in great condition. Would totally recommend this! Happy dog - Happy family.

Product arrived on time packaged well and the pump dispenser is working well. I bought it for my 10 1/2 year old ridgeback who was beginning to moan a fair bit, just in case it's her joints. She is a very fussy eater but has eaten all of all three meals I've added the oil to. So far so good. Too early to tell if it will help with the 'moaning'. I hope it does.

Flavour 4 stars & Scent 5 stars, however, I have to confess these ratings are not personal opinions but come from the hound who chomped through a fairly bland puffed pig's snout which had been drizzled with the salmon oil - never seen this treat demolished with such relish before! One star withdrawn because the nozzle applicator fractured on second use. Not too much of a problem really as the plastic holed neck disk allows you control flow just as well.

I recently bought this product for my 4 year old French bulldog, after I noticed his skin had become flaky & his coat was dull. However after only a week using the product I have noticed a massive difference with his skin & coat already, no flaky skin & his coat has become shiny and so soft too! He seems to like the taste mixed into his food. Can’t wait to see the results after a few more weeks of use! one other reason I bought this product was due to the easy dispense of the oil with the bump, however on delivery the pump was missing. It wasn’t a big issue, but I emailed the seller & their response was quick and efficient & they already have the pump & another bottle on its way in the post to me! Excellent customer service! Would highly recommend and would definitely buy again!

Great product. My 8 year old high-energy dog, otherwise very fit, has been suffering from hip / back legs discomfort after too much running around , chasing her ball etc. X-rays and other checks at the vet found nothing wrong. I started her on this oil and within 3 weeks there has been a visiable improvement to her condition.

A bit soon to say any impact on joints and skin but all 3 dogs love it so much. It’s better than other oils I’ve used to past as you can see traces of sediment ( lovely red) throughout which I would expect being from salmon rather than the mass produced and lacking real nutrients other commercial makes. I actually feel that it does come from a salmon

Got this instead of cod liver oil for dogs as had pump on bottle. Found just pouring it very messy. This is great my dogs are so fluffy and silky and no more skin irritations from brambles etc. Don’t get as smelly either and no bad tummy effects noticed. They seem to like the taste a lot too. We just squirt on their food.
