The Wii U is a brilliant piece of kit and offers a nice change from the more 'hardcore' consoles on the market. The graphics are very good (a large step-up from the Wii) and the tablet controller adds a great new depth to games and better functionality with instantaneous menus which keeps fluidity within the games.Many people say that this should not be selected over an Xbox One or PS4 because it does not have the power to provide great graphics or third party games. However I, and many others, recommend this console to own and play alongside other consoles due to the difference and uniqueness of the core offering. Many of the best games ever made are Nintendo exclusives and so a Nintendo console is a must for anyone who enjoys brilliant and unique games and the variety available stretches much further than FPS games.The Wii U is also backwards compatible with the Wii and can use the Wii-mote controller and so allows you to play even more of Nintendo's best games without the hassle. There is also a brilliant e-shop which provides quick downloads of classic Nintendo games or you can download current Wii U games if you don't fancy going to the shops to buy a hard copy.If you have a 3DS it can link to the console and can be used in conjunction with certain games (such as Monster Hunter 3) and the Mii from the console can be transferred to your 3DS via your Nintendo ID.Good Points:Limited edition Zelda edition console! I don't get people that don't like the Wii U which I found it be amazing console and game pad! They really have updated the Nintendo Wii to be fantastic in my eyes. The only down side I had towards it was it taken a hour and a half to finish the update for the internet, other than that I found it to be really joyful to play and browse with on the net.If you were expecting this console to be better than the PS3/360 it is! it's got better graphics work and art towards it. You have got a choice what age group you want towards this console with a password to keep it private and safe from others. They do violent games now for adults, a choice for teenagers and children.You can only use one game pad (for now, it could change in the future) and the rest for a controller Wii U or the Wii sticks (depending what games) read or ask in the GAME shop if it works first before buying. It does FREE online play with people around the world, what couldn't be better! It's more safer than ever because you can block/report anything towards others if you dislike what your seeing and no problems at all facing towards your children or towards yourself's.I was expecting the game pad to works downstairs from my bedroom but it doesn't seem to work! I have to take the console with me downstairs in order to use the pad! I wanted the pad to work on it's own with out putting the power on the console in order for the game pad to work. But except from that I think Nintendo have done well for the most part of designing and the graphics.The internet browse/TV remote/Mii e.g works fantastic and no problems at all! When updating through the internet remember to be patience with it and DO NOT switch the console or the game pad when updating, it will crash them both! I don't think people need more than 8GB unless you want to waste money and download games on the eshop. I do prefer paying the games in the shop or on amazon, it much cheaper to buy them all. I don't need a stander at all! it fits find under my TV, I can use my wii remotes still, senor bar from the Wii and use the cable from the wii for the TV if you haven't got HD just yet.From the reviews of bad words on this console I seen, I think that was really harsh well it isn't true, I beat people haven't even had the WiiU to start off with to give this bad reviews because of jealous of upcoming games available on it well it isn't on the other consoles. With out Nintendo help on making the games come true, you wouldn't be having them right now. :/
