Works great for small batch candles or wax melts! The pot is small but I knew that as I measured before ordering. It does smoke a bit the first time but again the instructions warned it would do that the first time as it primes itself. The thermometer works great as I tested it against another one I already have. I did not use the spoon as it is tiny and feels kinda cheap. I have nice bar spoons that I always use instead. Overall, this is a nice little set up and holds 32oz or 900ml of wax, making it great for doing wax melts or tarts. It warms up very fast so just watch your wax and pull off the burner when the correct temperature is reached.

omg love the lil put lol literally melts a lil over a LBS in less then 5 min. The silicone spout worked well for 2 pours and then it kept falling off lol not a deal breaker and super easy to do your candles as a beginner.

Easy to use, no problems with it!

The hot plate and pitcher worked reasonably well. The pitcher's spout is a bit shallow, so if the pitcher is fuller, pouring from it into candle molds is quite messy. Also the pitcher is quite small, which I expected from the dimensions, but do check that. Extras: The silicone trivet is handy for setting the pitcher down for a moment or to cool. The thermometer we got didn't work well—it only read temperature when holding down the on button, which might be user error, but there were no instructions, so who knows. The stirring spoon is pretty useless. It's thin enough to bend while stirring and barely long enough for the pot. We used it, and made a bunch of candles successfully. For a one-evening activity, it works and I recommend it (if it's big enough for your need). For more regular use, get something better.

This is a really great kit! The instructions were good and the kit is very beginner friendly. This was my first attempt at making candles and they came out perfect. This includes everything you need besides dye and scents if that's what you want. The burner heated up fast and melted the wax fairly quickly. I used the measurement markings on the inside to get consistent results. The candles turned out beautifully and I gave some as gifts and were very popular.

I really like this melting pot but you can’t put it on anything higher than 1 or it gets way entirely too hot. Everything else that comes with it is crap so I wouldn’t recommend using the wax or wicks

First timer doing this and it was super easy to use. Everything needed was in the kit. Perfect size to store . Great value for money !

Heats wax at multiple temperatures. Keeps temps even to prevent burning. Easy to pour from and cleans up nicely.
