Jiaogulan has been very well documented as one of the most powerful antioxidants on earth. I take this as part of my daily regimen to control free radical cell growth and lower my blood pressure. It does not in itself offer complete relief for high level hypertension, but it does bring it down a couple points. I add this with Organic Kyolic BP 109, Mercola L-Arginine, QoQ10, Gaia Olive Leaf Extract, Oil of Oregano and Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar for maximum results. I am happy to report that I no longer need my blood pressure meds and my blood pressure is at 117/75. It used to be 145/100. This has helped me maintain my weight. It stabilized me. Also made my ears warm. It was neat let me know its working. Normally I can 3-6lbs with every meal no matter what I eat or do. This has helped me maintain a stable weight for the first time in my life. Its just not quite strong enough I had to take three at least to notice benefits.

Ive been taking jiaogulan for over six months. It burns fat great, however this product is pretty potent and gives me a bit of bowel issues, had to switch back to my old product. Not sure why this bothered me so much but maybe it will be fine for you.

Jiaogulan is an anti-aging herb. It helps to keep the chromosomes from unwinding by protecting the telomeres. This extends cell life spans. Ashwagandha, another herb, also seems to do this. I take both. There's at least a dozen more herbs and mushrooms that extend cell life but these two are mentioned most often. Paradise seems to make high quality herbal supplements so I use their herbs a lot.

This herb is a bitter and so must be tasted for your body to be able to digest it properly. These capsules are not so tight that you will not taste it somewhat when you take them. However, while this is great for trips, I encourage you as a Master Herbalist to drink the tea when not traveling as it will be better for you.
