SHARP, high quality scissors
My wife has gotten into quilting lately. She came home from JoAnns with a pair of $15 Fiskar scissors that couldn't cut the material. They probably cost $1 to manufacture.So I searched Amazon scissors for 30 minutes and bought her these 10 Inch Professional Sewing Scissors. These scissors cut with almost no effort The blades are sharp enough to shave the hair off my arm, and very rigid. They arrived lightly oiled. The packaging warned not to use them to cut wire, or it would void the warranty. You don't need a warranty with a tool of this quality, they will last a lifetime.

Solid value for the money
These scissors are largely as described. They worked very well for us in cutting very dense fabric. They arrived sharp right out of the box and held their edge even after hundreds of yards of cutting. They are metal and a bit uncomfortable for long-term use but that is the sole complaint that I can voice about them. Very durable and they just feel like quality sheers that would cost 2-3x what these go for. Recommended.
