Probably one of the best portable a/c units, especially considering the price and ease of use to install. The window unit didn't work for us, we had to use one from the previous unit and adjust it. The unit in sleep mode is too loud, however, it cools the room down just perfectly, and it can be turned off during the night. Assuming that a perfect sleep mode is not possible, as the unit(s) are directly in the room, and they are noisy either way. However, for Central Florida, and the swamp heat we have during summer, especially this summer, we are extremely happy so far with this purchase. It cooled down the room very fast, and it's comfortably cool even into the bathroom area. Can highly recommend!

My husband works in the garage of our home. During this crazy heat this year he would in sweaty and worn out. This air conditioner cooled our garage off by 15-20 degrees. We had to be creative on how to Rig it up, but works very well. We live in Oklahoma and this has been a life saver for this brutal summer.

Let me begin by saying that we have purchased three of these particular portable AC's this Summer ( 2023 ). The Good: 1) reasonable price with Discounts... 2) They do put out a decent amount of cool air. but... The Not-So-Good: 1) The Hot Air Exhaust Hose and especially the "Window Kit" are Cheap, Poorly Designed, and in my opinion, are the Fatal Flaw in this ( and likely other makes ) Portable AC. In order to install the Window Exhaust kit, we had to cut one of the cheap plastic panels in order to fit our standard sized windows. Then, after connecting the Hose assembly to the Window kit, the hose kept falling out of its connector, even using the provided single, very small screw that does not hold the weight of the exhaust hose. This means that at almost any time the AC is running, the Hose Assembly can and often does spontaneously disengage from the Window vent. This results in all the Hot exhaust air being vented into the room while any cold air is exiting the open Window vent. Not good, and for me, a serious design flaw that tends to negate any other positive things I can say about these AC units. And I have read many other Portable AC reviews from customers, it seems this " Window Kit" problem is somewhat common. Why manufacturers can't spend a bit more time and money fixing this design flaw is maybe easily explained. Perhaps, if they can sell us these defective products - that ultimately will fail prematurely - they can just keep expecting we consumers to keep re-purchasing cheap junk over and over... year after year. Sounds like a conspiracy? Well, you only have to research the history of Light bulbs and you may find that many decades ago, those manufacturers built-in "limited Lifespans" in their products, solely to sell more lightbulbs to an unsuspecting and ignorant public. Unfortunately, I guess it all comes down to greed by those who profit on our implied acceptance of inferior products. I hope this review is helpful to those who are contemplating buying one of these AC units.

I purchased 2 of the portable air for my children’s bedroom due to my AC not working and this being cheaper. It has been a great investment I love the fact that I got what I paid for. It keeps the room at the temperature I want the installation was a very easy process I did it on my own with no help and didn’t take much time. I would highly recommend it.

It probably works wonderfully but I wouldn't know. Apparently my window is too small for the piece that connects to it so I wasted $300 dollars in the middle of a heat wave :(

If you've a room to keep cool This machine is your tool. Works well in a single room and quite enough for a bedroom. I really like it.

I recently moved to Seattle from Phoenix Arizona, and the first 80° day told me I needed some type of air conditioning. I had no idea where to start, but I did some research and I found this unit on Amazon. There are directions on Amazon as well, and this unit has been a lifesaver for me at my new apartment in Seattle.

200 to 300 sqft room will be nice and cool... What I don't like is this unit runs non stop and has no set temp cutoff and draws alot of electricity. Trust me on that lol... I have 2 of these portable ac units and it would be 5 stars rating if it would cutoff once it reached desired temperature.
