Ravensburger 23334 2 "Speed, Small Fish!" Game

This is a lovely little introduction to board games for very young children, but younger than the age range given by Ravensburger. My 3.5 year old picked it up straight away and soon got a bit bored, and frustrated that the game seems weighted in favour of the fish. I'd say age 2-3, I can't see a 7 year old being engaged!As with most German games it is beautifully designed and well made with wooden pieces. The instructions are only in German, French and Italian but Google Transate sorts that out.Basically there are two fishermen in a boat at one end, the sea at the other and river pieces inbetween. The fish start in the middle of the river. You roll a colour-spot die and depending on the colour advance either a fish or the boat. The fish win if they reach the sea, the fishermen catch the fish if the boat reaches them on the river.
