I like the white glass effect it makes it easy to clean and looks nice . I was surprised at how big and chunky the pan stand bits on the gas rings where though . I thought they would look neater but they actually stand quite high on the top and look bulky. I bought this style because I expected it to look less bulky that the two full pieces that fit side by side over the rings but it’s a lot more bulky to look at . It’s taking a bit of getting used to looking at them as they stick out a bit and catch the eye when I walk into my kitchen . The performance of the hob is good and easy to use .

I love mine do easy to clean all the parts go in the dish washer and the top just wipes over with a cloth

This is a really nice hob, be aware of the depth in the diagram though as I had to remove a top piece out of my over carcass to allow the hob to sit flush to the 40mm worktop. Each burner lights almost instantly and the is a double burner for rapid heating All in all a very nice quality product in the modern gas on glass style, I am really glad I bought this as it looks so much smarter than a standard hob.

Have been pestering parents to get a new hob for as long as i can remember. I cook their tea's on Wednesdays and every time i went i complained how long it took to cook food. Well, they finally let me get them a replacement. They had quite specific instructions, had to be white and look as close to their old one as possible. The Millar matched the criteria and so plumped for it at a reasonable £225. Got it installed and used it last night. Mum being old struggled to grasp how to light the gas, but once i explained; Hold down, twist and wait a couple of seconds until the gas gets going, and then release, she was fine. I loved using it, made my cheffing much easier. Love the large burner, ideal for a wok. I am going to treat them to some new pots and pans now; bought them some with detachable handles a year or so back, but they are dangerous - see my review on that model -as my Tefal ones are fine.

I was looking for a replacement for my 15 year old Bosch white tempered glass hob. Many hobs seem to only be either white enamel, stainless steel or black tempered glass which I did not like or would it match my white electric oven beneath. I had not heard of the make Millar before so was a bit apprehensive, however my gas fitter had no problem installing into the previous place where my old Bosch one was, and I love my new burners, especially the one for a wok, as we frequently do stir fries.

On the plus side it arrived quickly and I like the lok of it. However the electronic ignitiion does not work and one of the pot stands does not sit well due to the fact that the indentations of the mount is not clearly struck ,it looks like somebody has had two goes at forming the indents. If iwas not for the fact that it was already fitted and siliconed in place , and I had got rid of the box etc I would have returned it . As it is I'll live with it until I get somthing better.
