It did connect to the forklift computer but it seemed like most of the displayed data was erroneous. Did not reset error codes. Waste of time on the whole. FYI: This machine is NOT intended for anything other than is specifically mentioned in the sales ad. It will not work on a forklift, even if it is J1939 CAN bus. UPDATE: Tried on a truck mentioned on the ad and it does give correct information for that.

I was able to update the software from their website and it has alot of useful data, it'll be a useful piece of the puzzle also look at https://amzn.to/2JEBR2p it does a nice scan of the systems but there's so much that can go wrong with these cars its just the beginning getting the codes, its a good start though and a lot cheaper than the Atlantic British GAP tools or whatever, they're like $600

I was expecting more functionality but for the money it is worth having. 2006 RRS's throw codes and going to the dealer is not always in my budget.

the scanner will not work on a 2000 frightliner with diesel cummins 5.9 24 valve isb engine . it reads codes but codes do not correspond with a diesel engine. example: (SID 102. engine cylinder #13 knock sensor) . Diesel engines do not have knock sensors. only live data shown was the battery voltage. all others data could not be read. nice unit but not for my 2000 frightliner

This helps us with our big semi trucks and to be able to diagnose them. Highly recommend!

The V3.0 worked right out of the box on my 2017 Cunnins ISV 5.0 Tiffin motorhome. Read the engine codes properly and performed a reset for a MIL code. With that use and result, I was happy. The issue came when I wanted to update the software. According to the website, I could download the iOS app and do the update. It did not work. I contacted their tech support and over a 3 or 4-day period was finally told they did not support iOS for updates. I pointed out their web page had the iOS app. I was told it didn't work and there were no plans to fix it. I would have to buy a Windows machine if I wanted to update my device. That was the last communication I received from them. Offering an app for iOS that does not work with no intention of fixing it is at best poor customer support and at worst false advertising. If you own a Mac, avoid them if you want current support and software updates.

My only problem is I purchased for a 2016 and it does not work for my car, starts at 2017, it will read certain things but not everything. But when you do a search on Amazon I searched for a 2016. Cannot get it to load a 2016 online!

Works for all Jaguars and Land Rovers. We recently purchased two used Jaguars at bargain prices. As expected there are some small issues we wanted to correct, and this device does the trick. However the first one we ordered was defective but Amazon replaced it quickly with a different model, why, we don’t know. The second one works like a charm.

Drei freie Werkstätten, unzählige Versuche – und kein Erfolg. Beim Range Rover Evoque Cabrio ließ sich der Service partout nicht zurückstellen. Motorhaube auf, Pedale drücken, hoffen, fluchen … alles probiert, nichts passiert. Laut Range Rover geht das Ganze entweder nur mit dem originalen Service-Tool – oder mit genau diesem Gerät. Angesteckt, ein paar Minuten gewartet, klick – erledigt. Fazit: Top-Teil! Absolut empfehlenswert, besonders für Jaguar- und Land-Rover-Fahrer, die keine Lust mehr auf Werkstatt-Voodoo haben.

Vorrei sapere se è possibile inserire altri marchi di auto oltre quelli installati di L. Rover e Jaguar. Eventualmente anche il costo. Grazie

I am not going to go into the ins and outs of this iCarsoft LR V1.0 for LandRover & Jaguar with Oil Service Reset & Battery Tester. 'cos if you are here looking at this review you undoubtedly know what your looking for. I will just say it gives you all the OBD2 data readings you will need to check your motor out. I bought it for my Landy Freelander and I am glad I did as it diagnosed faulty injectors. RECOMMENDED

A very useful tool that will pay for itself if you're into doing some DIY car work. As it's specific to Land Rover and Jaguar the information is much more detailed than the cheaper generic scanners. It allows you to delve into pretty much every system on your car. My local Jaguar/Land Rover dealer wanted more than the price of this scanner just to plug theirs in.
