Woke up and MacBook was dead. After some research it appeared that the battery was no longer working. I needed a replacement quickly! So Amazon it was. I was a little skeptical of the battery replacements available but I chose one with a lot of good reviews. Ordered it and it came the next day. Took about 2 hours to install. It went pretty smoothly. After resetting the pram it showed that the new battery was working normal. At the moment it actually lasts quite a while compared to the old Apple battery and it also charges fine. So far I am very happy with this battery especially for the price. Apple wanted a lot more money and it would take a while to get back.

I installed this in my old macbook after the battery died completely. It isnt an easy install but once you get it done you will have a new battery again! So far the battery is performing well.

It's a battery. Be careful taking out your old one, especially if it's swollen. Can be a fire risk if done improperly, watch some videos.

The battery works and the kit came with all the things needed to do the job. It is, however, one of the worst batteries ever to install. The battery does not seem to last as long as the original did new but it does the job and runs all the features. I have had some batteries that fail fail when the GPU kicks in, this one seems to do the job.

The old battery pack had swelled so that most of the adhesive affixing it inside the case had detached making removal WITHOUT disassembling most of the other major components possible. The instructions recommend removing many of the computer's other components, speakers, fans, SSD, WiFi card, and logic board, since in most situations a solvent will be needed to dissolve the adhesive holding the battery in place. The obvious concern is that the solvent could migrate onto some of these components causing some damage. I was able to carefully pry the packs loose without the solvent which saved significant time. Once the battery was removed I was able to clean away the remaining adhesive with some alcohol on Q-tips.

The QR code went to a site with no Mac book battery replacement, but found one. The screw drivers it comes with are color coded but for what there nothing saying what color is what or labels on the screw drivers. There’s nothing else in the box. No cards to lift up the logic board, nothing. The battery has no charge of anything. Oh get those, the adhesive for the new batteries are on one sheet of plastic so be sure you have it in place right. lol this is complete garbage.

Long story short, Sold my maxed out spec macbook on ebay, buyer returned downgraded spec macbook with a messed up battery. Ebay couldn't do anything about it as the buyer did a chargeback on the card she purchased my macbook with. The battery in the downgraded macbook was tampered with and the laptop wouldnt stay on without the plug inside. I bought this fancy buying battery to hopefully resolve it. The directions really helped. They did leave out that you should clean the old adhesive strips before placing the new battery. Also buy alcohol ahead of time as it is needed to aid in removing the adhesive strips. Total time it took me to install the battery was about 40 minutes. Taking off the bottom cover was the hardest part. Just be sure to lift up slightly, then pull towards you. So far the battery is doing great. Im able to use my laptop now without it being plugged in and it lasts for about 8 hours or so with just browsing the web. Would buy this battery again because of ease of installation and they provide all the tools you need. I recommend putting the screws on something flat and place them according to their location on the laptop, otherwise you'll forget which screw goes where. Most of the screws you remove are different from each other so be careful of that.

Ancient 12yr old laptop needed a battery. Yes I said 12 years old. Didn't know if the old girl could be resurrected to sort of play around with but this battery did the trick! Great price and was delivered in 2 days. Impressed that they still even made batteries for such an old machine. Battery was simple to put in and all in all I am very happy with its performance. Does what a battery is supposed to do and the price was right! Highly recommend.
